well, had to buy this game. looks awesome. thanks for showcasing content like this and chicory. i've killed enough virtual shit for one lifetime, now that i'm in my mid-thirties, i find interesting, non-violent games like this to be what i want to play. enough mindless killing for me. it's easy enough to give your character a gun, much harder to give them a camera.
This video inspired me to create a playlist called "Favorites", I thoroughly enjoyed both the game and your commentary :DDDD Loved it so much!
12:49 I'm guessing that's welcome to fjallbjörnarna tjaldsvæði, which, if written in Icelandic in a less loosely translated way would be "velkominn til tjaldsvæði fjallbjarnana" which means welcome to the camp of the mountain bears. but I'd probably word it "welcome to camp mountain bear"(even though the other one is righter).
Also, in Icelandic, if you but the same letter beside each other like how it's fjall not fjal, the way you pronounce it changes. The word is either pronounced faster or harsher when you put two letters beside each other. It can also depend on the gender of the word.
We have three words meaning mine. Those words are mitt, mín or minn. Minn is male, Mín is female and mitt is non gendered (like like it or thing). To find out what gender a word is you can use these. like, Hesturinn minn (My horse) is male since you use "minn". If you put mín in front of a word it has one n but if you put minn it has two n's. But since we overcomplicated things with our grammar, there are exceptions. I don't even remember if there is a rule to these exceptions. I also have no idea how tf Y and I work in Icelandic, they make the exact same sound. And just so you know, I'm Icelandic and have lived in Iceland my entire life. Icelandic grammar is so fkn overcomplicated.

wait, maybe this game led into chicory, cuz its all greyscale and they used the toem to paint the world, then the toem lost its color abilitys and the last people to use it turned the last remaining bit into the brush, making sure to pass it down for generations to paint everything :)

I would recommend "A short hike" it has the same feel as this game, but without pictures.
