I’m doing an install Monday, my first solo install for large vinyl window graphics. This video helped so much. Thanks! I work at a Signarama and am more accustomed to ADA signage installs and vehicle graphics
EXCELLENT VIDEO... and Commentary... Can this be taken off with ease when you leave the building say years later? I am in the midst of moving back to Albuquerque, New Mexico (US) to RE-Open my Acting Studio... and this would be FANTASTIC... to where we could look out, but people can't look in... and GREAT advertisement... Can I order the sheet from you and you mail it?
WHY? This is especially used so YOU can SEE out of the window, but people can't SEE in... If you need this inside... then use a normal Sheet of plain film... BUT... I can SEE what you might be thinking if one has a GLASS Office... That is a Great idea.... The person inside the office can SEE Out... but no one can SEE In... I'm thinking... Right???
great video ! Can you do one on the different sizes of holes and light tint %. Personally i would like to buy some to cover a car for the golf ball aerodynamics, any idea on the size i should get? I should prob test different types
Yes it's generally white in the face and black on the adhesive side. So when applied blank it'll look primarily fully white in the face and a slight tint of black from the inside but still giving good visibility. Acts well to keep the sun out too 😎. But remember in the dark if you've lights on you'll be able to see 👀 inside !
It'll peel of fairly easily because it's not 100% adhesive because all the tiny holes. Just use a standard bladed glass scraper, once it's all off you'll have to clean the windows again after to remove any residue with a good soapy mix and squeegee.
You have an idea for the gen 2 Prius? I need to bring a Prius V in there? It would make sense to do this to a Prius V. I would like to have window covers that look like somebody is sitting in the car at a glance not to beat the carpool but so if a criminal was cruising your neighborhood they see somebody in the car at first glance and might drive on.
Did you have this laminated ? I'm doing a huge job next week, and think I'm gonna laminate it so water doesn't get under it and peal over time, thoughts ? Looks great !!!!
Hi guys, I had heard you need to apply water and soap to the surface before laying down the vinyl onto glass. I will be putting vinyl onto sintra...I know, boss thinks sintra is not as wearable as a vinyl top on it...sigh...anyway...soap and water??? I can see using water since I have to apply it to a very large area of 8x4 feet surface....any suggestions? Thank you!!:) Display artist for a Nature Centre in Canada.
about 1/4 cups soap(I like Johnson baby shampoo and yellow Ajax detergent) to every gallon, or roughly 20 drops. Soap allows adhesive time to slip around on glass, eliminating the risk of peeling back before finishing caused by any obstructions like bubbles. in this method you're actually pushing water out and allowing the material to dry in place, before any permanent position. also wetting the surface before applying pressure increases the efficiency of pushing water out from behind material.
Hi, I Installed this type of perforated window graphics in a cold climate, in Alberta Canada. It was fine for the summer/fall, then in the winter the temperature dipped to about -25F and the glass cracked. Has anyone else had this happen? Thanks!

I am a little bit disappointed (Not the video)... but whomever is checking this video out with this business... NO ONE ever replies to the questions... not good business service... I wonder why no one is checking this video to REPLY back to your VIEWERS... ???
Oh, you got to stop using crappy ladders like that. Use little giant ladders. You put the ladder sideways to the window and stand on both sides of the ladder. It makes working so much easier and comfortable.
Stop using back-breaking ladders. Use AFrame-like gorilla-brand ladders. They are so much easier to work from. It's like standing on the ground facing the wall.

Excellent use of window space for advertisement that really sticks out very well.
EXACTLY
Thank you for the teachings!! Also, thank you for stabilizing the video.
Great Video! I have a graphics sign shop and your video showed us a better way to do this. Thanks so much for posting!!
I’m here because I’m trying to learn before I fuck something up!
BAHAHAHAHAHAHA
Aren't we all...

To remove later down the road do you just peel it off?
I would like you to do a double print in one window large window with all four sides edge to edge to the frame. Overlaying graphic and edge to edge.
Wow! Nice job, and she's very jovial.
What is the name of the tools used in fixing it
It would have been helpful it you had shown us what the view is through the perforated film from the inside of the windows!
Would have been nice to see from the inside out with the images in place to be able to see it is you are saying to be able to see out.
Is the perf laminated?
What kinda squeegee do you use to not streaks on the vinyl?
Thanks for the video! How long does it last? does it begin to peal off after a while? How long till it begins to get bleached by the sun?
Is there any way to install these inside of the office, rather than outside?
WHY?

Right???
I do have some questions. I am having two large graphics do I have to do 1” over lap to connect them together?
Educational. Thanks for the lesson
Wich type tool used

Outdoor window perf in Arizona's summer must make the material nice and gummy. A real test of installer skills?
So, can this stuff be installed from the inside or only outside? Can it be used as privacy tint without any graphics printed on it?

what do you use to take these off?
Just buy your own! Hahahaha.

You don't laminate window perf in my experience.
Is the chocolate offer is still valid? =)

You guys should get our GeckoPatches (glass magnets) Speed Mags and mega TimberMAXX squeegees.
What can you do if once you get to the bottom corner you have a spot that keeps bubbling/crinkling? HELP!!!😂
nice Video, but who TF edited the black bars on the sides.... Those things are moving like crazy, making it hard to focus on the video.

What could I expect to pay for a sign like that?
Printed or printed and installed?
The Business Clinic printed
That perforated vinyl on 4 feet wide and 8 feet tall about $180-$220 per panel depends who's printing. With us it's $180 with design and print

Are you the one with this video?
I'm interested in doing this once I move to ABQ NM...
Fuck. I just might hire this guy to see how handsome he his.
What a nightmare. Your stretching the hell out of it at the end. And stop saying bubbles. Window perf has holes. You don't get bubbles!!!
I from Pakistan this my work
Why do I cringe when I see how other people apply graphics
I feel ya!!!
Do like your technique
