Do you think this would work well as a straight volume boost, placed after drive pedals and into an amp that's not at breakup point? I like the tilt eq / high pass function for taking the flub out of neck pickups but like I said, looking for a eq-able volume boost predominantly. Thx and great vids as always!
Those P90s are sounding great. Excellent tasty playing too. I think I need a 'tight toggle' in my life. I'm sure it would have many applications.... Loved the AC30 section, just invested in one myself. Now I know what all the fuss is about!
it really gives cut to the p90's, especially the neck, that has a bit of a flubby bottom end, which i find all P90's have without some way of cutting bottom end. the tilt does a great job of it and the drive a little mid boost. very close to what i love to do with my boost and buff pedal from MI audio, boost the drive and add a mid hump for solo's, it helps cut in mix without really getting louder, except for mids, and add sustain to drive for single notes. turns my amp into a fire breather, but doesn't cut bottom end like this pedal offers. great demo Brett
Thank you, I think I really understand this pedal quite a bit better now, and I was already impressed with it. One thing that strikes me as odd, though, is that I would have thought that the obvious orientation for the Tilt EQ knob would be to put flat at due North, even if that would mean mounting the potentiometer a little counterclockwise, so that the maximum position would end up around due East or so. That seems to me like it would be even more intuitive. The feature set is really great. I really like being able to switch out the clipping diodes, and I almost wish I had an excuse to replace my existing boost pedals, but I really don't, since they do what I need, just fine.
@@BrettKingman Aha, I was wondering that, but thought it wasn't possible individually which is why they made the boost on it's own? I'll have to go back and find your review of the bigger dual pedal! It maybe what I'm needing when I'm not using my big Pedalboard. My main goto is still an Ulbrick 12axe, just wish it had a tad more gain, especially for lower volume gigs. Cheers for the reply Burgs! 👍
Brett, that intro riffage is AWESOME!!!
As ever, you make the gear sound great - and that sounds like a fun guitar to play.

Burgs, the tones are great! Nice playing!
It does sound great and as always your calm demeanor and explanation hits the mark - now I am considering buying one of this....When does this end? 🤣😂

Sounds amazing 👌
Nice one! You think they'd make the Drive footswitchable though.
They do, but it's on the bigger pedal. Tilt Overdrive.
