I learned from Samatha Brown to keep a basket of basic toiletries ready and plenty of extra rolls of toilet papers and keep fruit, cereal, breakfast essentials easily assessable so guests can help themselves in the morning.

Thank you so much for watching and leaving such a nice! Sending very best wishes for a lovely day! I’d be very grateful if you’d be so kind to watch a few other videos and subscribe! Warm regards, Heidi💕
This was such a delightful video, thank you! You seem to be joyful to be around, even on screen you are so peaceful an welcoming that it puts me at ease. ❤ You made a good point of emptying the drawers or just some space for the guests stuff. What I do is that I always always ask in advance, if they need/want something special to have a nice stay and always confirm what they dont eat or what (food) allergies they have. It can spare me some unpleasant moments. 😊
Hello Marie! Thank you so much for watching, I just read your comments- you have made my day with your kind compliment! It’s always nice to make sure your guests feel warmly welcomed, and can be great fun, getting ready for them to arrive. Thank you and I would be delighted if you would be so kind as to subscribe to my channel. Warm regards, Heidi. 💕
I have no idea how the Algorithm recommended this. I was literally on a football video binge. And yet somehow this is actually interesting. The concept that old school “visits” still exist is somehow confronting. Sincerely, A random millennial football fan
You sound exactly like you could do with a week or two on a training ramp for Bull Riding, yup !!I can see benefits that you would become aware of within 90 days particularly if you use a mild form of strategic wine slurping monitored by a Russian Oligarchs second wife ! Yup ! Or indeed as a very good alternative you could try a few wild mushrooms for breakfast every day for a year and one month, you can of course, down a skillet of Tripe n Onions every second day !! wonderful to hear of your situation and hugely interesting !
This is a great topic because I am viewed as a terrible host. You see, I’m low maintenance, fine with eating whatever the host serves and however they want to host me. To me, that is interesting. I don’t need my brand of shampoos or sheets, etc. My friend is the opposite. When I visit his house or his parent’s house, they pull out the welcome mat and have my brand of toothpaste, brand of sheets, my usual snacks, my favorite cereal, dinner types, etc. While I appreciate the extra mile, it feels like a “staycation”, it is boring because I want to eat what they eat and use what they use. Conversely, I don’t do the same when he visit because I want them to try what I cook, what I use, it’s like a vacation get away, not a “staycation”. There are times I purchase their favorite items, by the end of their visit I didn’t know what to do with their merchandise after they depart.
Hello! Thank you so much for watching this video and leaving such an interesting comment! I think your viewpoint is so well taken! It is fun to see how other people live, the brands they choose, the food they eat, and just their lifestyle in general. And if they alter all of that to suit their guest, then yes, I can absolutely see your point. Thank you for exposing me to a different point of view! Sending you very best wishes! Warmest regards, Heidi💕
Hello Karen! Thank you for watching and asking this good question! If this is a very close family, then yes, you can ask them to bring their own drinks. However, generally speaking, family aside, it would be best if the host provides the beverages. You can ask people what they want and have that ready for them. Sending best wishes for a lovely day! Warm regards, Heidi 💕
I felt ousted to be treated differently then the other two persons be treated . They provide liquids for them but am not for me? confused me so I declined the offer. I felt I was burden not welcomed

The Hostess took umbrage and advised my partner who spoke the same eastern dialect to sling her hook,so to speak, and put the hounds on us,, dreadful people and small to boot,no class whatsoever, how did they get into this country ?
