- Relationship DAX functions In Power BI are for managing and utilizing relationships between tables.
In today's video, I have explained the USERELATIONSHIP & CROSSFILTER DAX Function.
CROSSFILTER: Specifies the cross-filtering direction to be used in a calculation for a relationship that exists between two columns.
RELATED: Returns a related value from another table.
RELATEDTABLE: Evaluates a table expression in a context modified by the given filters.
USERELATIONSHIP: Specifies the relationship to be used in a specific calculation as the one that exists between columnName1 and columnName2.

I have a peculiar issue where I need to display all records from 2 different dimensions without filtering based on Fact table.
I see probably a similar scenario in your data model defined by inactive relationship between Sales Territory and Employee. How / Where to use this relationship. Have you demonstrated this in any video ?

Hi, However, calculation of total sales -based USERELATIONSHIP dax function with [ship date key] to [date key] and
without using userrelationship dax function i.e already defined active relationship with [datekey] to [orderdate key] gives the same result.

Hello, Given nice explanations.. i have been searching for one information from long time but it is not properly available.. can you please make a video on issues that faced in matrix table total column. some times it comes the text value and some times if we use any if and else functions on matrix total column also affecting.. can you plz help me on that?

I have one doubt. I have yeardate in slicer, when I click the year in slicer it will show max value in the column chart as well as show the maxvalue of month Name as header.

We have a common data model so when we use userelationship doesn't work is there any limitation when using this dax in CDM?

What is the use of inactive relationship in powerbi?
