He has structure to his songs and not every song is too long but the ones that are seven eight minutes by him, he switches it up. You gotta remember that about him. Even on Trilogy, he was like that and always will be. Hes always had complex imdustrial sounds in his music. Hes been like that since 2011 when he started out.
At 17:26 in Escape from LA there's a really dope cross rhythm with the hi hats which is why it sounds so cool. It happens when you play a group triplets against a group of duplets, caught me waaay off guard when I first heard it haha
