@@dragosandrei88 Hi, sorry to hear that! First, make sure you've checked all your junk, spam, promotions folders... If you're still having trouble then please email support@30daybassist.com and they will get everything fixed for you 👍🏻
As my Bass Hero, it's awesome to see that you're giving out a course for beginner bassists! I think it's sad how a lot of people quit bass because they don't know what direction to go in when learning. Cheers!
Started learning bass and watching you about a year ago. I learned to always play with a strap on from watching your videos, and that's definitely helpful!
Just finished lesson one! Much appreciated! I've mostly been trying to teach myself up to this point, and i fear I've missed a lot of the BASSics (pun very much intended).
Cheeky charlies saying "and that's it" right after showing the secret slap bass lesson at the end that's only unlocked after you finish the whole thing! That might actually get me to go through all the lessons
Charles - after completing this course, would the next be the Mastering the Masters course? Or something else? I want to take advantage of your Black Friday deals for both of that’s the reasonable path. Thanks for your videos and making it fun.
Mastering The Masters would be a pretty big jump after finishing this course. But remember, when you buy either of these courses you get lifetime access!
Man. I would love to buy this course and get back into playing bass but as a South African, $75 is a bit steep. 😢 Good on you though for providing a course that is easily digestible and tailored for beginners 🙌🏾
I wish this course would have been available one year ago when I first started to learn bass playing.. And take a wild guess who inspired me?! (Thank you Charles)
Just when I finally, after wanting it for a few years, bought a bass! Guess who will definitely buy it. BTW: Charles, what's your opinion about store-bought bases in novice's hands - are they usually ok to play as is at least at this stage, or is it a good idea to get a professional to look at them first and if necessary set them up? It's not really something a novice can assess...
Can’t wait to see you live in Hamburg, I’m thinking about buying the VIP ticket for the Workshop before the Gig, can you tell me what I can expect from it? I’ve never been to a workshop before in general (and shame on me not even a bass workshop as a music student that wild but idk😂)
That's cool. I've been thinking about buying a bass but it's so hard to find reliable information about good entry level instruments that aren't that expensive but provide a good bang for your buck.
Sire make some amazing basses sub 500. They play really well and sound really nice. Don't buy cheap, cheap. But you don't need to spend anywhere near 1k to get started. Factor in at least 2-300 for an amp, too.
Squier makes some great ones, even the Affinity models are decent quality now and the Classic Vibe ones (and any others around that price range even if they aren't branded as Classic Vibe) are actually really good, I've liked every one I've played. Ibanez also has some great entry level stuff. I have a Sterling by Music Man Ray4HH because I wanted a Stingray and I'd say it's about the same level as a Squier CV. Someone else mentioned Sire and those are great value for money and have some features that models double or even triple their price sometimes don't, but I've never played one. If you care at all about how it looks, a nice benefit of a Squier or Sterling is that they're official Fender or Music Man products respectively, which means they have the rights to use the trademarked shapes and look just like the "real deal" but with a different name on them. That was honestly a big reason I got a Sterling instead of another Stingray clone, only Music Man products are allowed to have the classic 3-and-1 headstock.
Is there a way to learn in absolute secrecy? Without an amp, just headphones. Will the noise of the strings annoy your neighbours if the walls are thin drywall?
If you get an audio interface then you can plug your bass into that and practise with headphones. There are also headphone amps! And no, I doubt that your neighbours could hear the sound of the strings even through thin drywall.

Congrats on picking up the best instrument 🔥
Danny Sapko? 🤓
@charlesberthoud have you heard welcome to the Mario party by starboard? The bass in that is sick but I can't find an isolated bass track for it

It's really cool to see this released! I would sign up immediately if I actually had a bass. 😆

Sterling by Music Man have some pretty good affordable ones!

Hola Charles me interesa este curso pero hablo español, sólo se imparte en inglés? O también en español. Un saludo
nice
👏🏻🥇
thank you, sensei 🙏🏽
Course all the moms and dads who bought Jr a bass for Christmas will be how to keep interested once February comes.
Yesss! 🎉❤
Is it possible to purchase this as a gift?
I've been playing bass 16 years already, but I guess I'll learn bass by Christmas.
The "Easiest music theroy lesson" was pretty much what my music teacher does

I use a headphone amp (Blackstar amplug Fly 2), no need for an amp or an audio interface. My roommates in the other room don't even hear me playing
Headphone amp works fine. Go for it!
Theory videos do be like that
1:34 link to full lesson please
Funny thing about Berkley
Pro
Was just thinking about looking for a second hand bass, this is not helping me in convincing myself I shouldnt haha
Well its been 15 years might as well start now

Dont say "schedule." Say "shejule."
