I am a former armed security guard from the US (6 years) currently living in the Philippines. I just want to point out some flaws regarding this belt setup (or belt setups for security guards in the Philippines in general), the way they use it and the contents thereof, some of which are pretty stupid in my opinion (no offense but its the truth):
1. Mismatched Holster and Ammunition Pouches
A majority of armed guards that I've seen so far are carrying 1911's. It was pretty weird seeing some of them carrying a semi-automatic handgun but using those individual bullet holders (meant for revolvers) for the extra ammo instead of magazine pouches, like wtf is up with that?
2. Cheap Level 1 Strap Holsters
I get that most if not all of the equipment and accessories used by security guards in the PH are cheap which is understandable considering that most of the people working security are not so well-off folks living almost below the minimum wage but I would never dare to use a cheap level 1 holster in this day and age. It doesnt take a smart ass and more than 3 seconds to unbutton that strap and use that gun against you. I've seen those new level 2 holsters issued to the police, why not use those? As far as I know their around 400 to 500 pesos maybe even cheaper.
3. Incomplete IFAK (the so called "medicine kit")
The "medicine kit" is nothing more than a boo boo kit. What if you or your clients get shot or stabbed? Plug that hole with some cotton balls and douse it in alcohol hoping that the devil doesnt come out? At the very least tourniquets, trauma dressings/bandages and thick gauze pads should also be issued for this matter. As a security guard you are supposed to be the first responder in your area/place of work until professional help arrives.
4. Belt Clips Not for Aesthetics
In the video it mentioned that the belt clips are for aesthetics, they are NOT. Your supposed to wear a regular belt through the belt loop of your work pants and then you put your duty belt over the regular belt and fasten them together with the belt clips at strategic locations to make sure that the duty belt is not sagging. This way when you wear or take off the duty belt, you dont have to put in and take off all the pouches every single time. BTW in the US we usually call them belt keepers. Unfortunately it seems to be a common practice/standard for PH guards to directly wear their duty belt throught the belt loops, its quite a hassle.

Yung clip po para mag separate yung mga paraphernalia. Para hindi mag dikit dikit. At para hindi duma-us-us yung belt

Hindi po palamuti yung clip sir.. fyi yung buckle assembly po ay kinakabit po yan sa inner belt gamit ang sinasabi mong palamuti lang o belt clip.. kulang po ata kayo sa kaalaman sir o di kaya nag officer lang kayo ng di na dumaan sa pagiging security guard... No hurt feelings sinasabi ko lang yung kulang..

Yang sinasabi mo ay hindi yan kasama sa basic ng paraphernalia o uniform okay para malaman mudin at magkaroon ka ng kaalalaman , kaya palamuti ang tinawag ko jan dahil hindi yan kasama sa requirments okay yan ang gawa gawa nalang ng mga gumawa bagkos nagagamit katulad ng sabi mo pero kaya naging palamuti dahil di sya kasama sa part ng sa belt o bilang uniform ..okay sana matuto kadin ha bago ka mag salita aralin mudin at alamin ha..

Radio holder at teargas
Salamat sa comment kapatid, yan yung basic. Ang teargas ay hindj na sya pwede ngayon bawal na ang radio naman ay aptional depindi kung may gamit na radio sa pwesto. Salamat muli

Hehe pasinsya napo ha anu po ba ang ibig ninyong sabihin? Pero kung tanung po ninyo ay kung ilan ang dalang FA ng mga Secuirty Guard ay depindi po. May mga Security kasi na dalawa ang dalawa katulad po ng mga masa armored car miron po jan isang long FA at Short FA kaya minsan dalawa. Pero talagang iisa lang ang isue ng mga secuirty guards na FA.. so sana nasagot ko po kayo at salamat sa inyong katanungan....mabuhay

Actually may sagot napo ako nito sa mga unang tanung..ang radio holder po ay optional hindj po sya kailangan dahil hindi po lahat ng post ay may radio kaya po sya ay optional..kaya pag may radio naman po ay kung saan ka kumportable doon sya isusoksok kung kanan sa kanan side kung kaliwa sa kaliwa side dahil nga sya ay optional lang..so sana po nasagot ko ang inyong katanungan..maraming salamat po..
