That’s how I started being a minimalist many years ago my son had a surgery in NY and I spent 4 months out of my house and realized how I didn’t need anything that I left behind and I was already a carry on traveler, is amazing how we’re surrounded of all this stuff and we don’t really need most of them and I realized how much happier and lighter I was not taking care of that stuff.

Love when you share like this. I am determined to push through the mental block that has me holding on to way too much and content like this helps me see that I will be JUST FINE with less

I love when you share things like what you packed or what you own. It is so inspiring. I just decluttered a lot in my home, and then again today I went through my kitchen and got rid of more. It feels so good to have less. Lol

Thank you for sharing what you brought, that’s a very helpful overview because what works for a month is helpful to see what’s not necessary in a year. ❤❤❤

I can't believe its almost time to go back home. You can make homemade play doh at home. I do it all the time with kids in my class.
2 ingredients and they can help which they love.
Cornstarch, and hair conditioner. I get it at the dollar store, makes it so affordable.
Add some food coloring or watercolors which they also love making it different colors

Nice & minimal. Love your practicality. I could do with more of that myself.

You are inspiring, keeping your clothes so minimal and even decluttering.. Is there anything you have missed and wish you brought?

Do you think you will declutter more when you get home seeing what all you really needed while you’re gone? Thanks for sharing. ❤

Still can’t believe we are due at the same time. 😅 It’ll be so fun to see who has their baby first! My guess will be you, since you’ve said you go early but we’ll see. Cannot wait for all of the newborn snuggles in a few weeks. ☺️

Wow, I have been decluttering a lot this summer and this motivates me to keep going. Seeing that you didn't need many things over this past month, do you think when you get home you will want to declutter more things before your baby boy gets here? Also, I have been reading Becoming Mom Strong by Heidi St. John, I was wondering if you have read this book and if so did you enjoy it, I have been trying to find more Christian based parenting books. Thanks for sharing!

I definitely have thought of a few things I could do without! So I probably will do a bit of decluttering when we get back! And I haven’t read that book, but it sounds interesting! I’ll have to check it out!
