That lady is one of the clear examples of why academia needs major reforms. Our degrees are a joke meanwhile other countries are rolling out medical doctors, lawyers, engineers, scientists yet America is speed bumped into arguing over an imaginary issue. We're being allowed to be shot in the foot meanwhile other countries keep moving up and up. We desperately need to fix this.

Couldn't agree more. These people who support DEI, socialism, etc are absolutely ridiculous. I wish they could hear themselves speak. They use all these could be or probably statements to assume what other people would think and it just highlights the fact that they are racist or at the very least, obsessed with race when the majority of us are not. Her example of what people would think if a black person was acting goofy on stage was ridiculous and I wish someone would have called that out. She literally said, people would probably think all black people were weird or goofy while those same people would think she was just goofy if a white person was acting goofy on stage. That's so ridiculous and no one called it out. When I see a brilliant black person speaking such as Thomas sowell, I don't think all black men are brilliant, I just think he's brilliant. When I see a white woman speaking intelligently, I don't assume all white women are intelligent. That whole statement she made about people probably thinking a certain way was flawed from the start. I wish Dr Phil would have called that out. So ridiculous. If we could just get rid of these DEI fanatics, we could all move forward.

I think he knew after it came out of his mouth how incredibly insensitive he was. This fraud that “Dr.” Phil is knows he can’t be an all out pro white/white supremacist. He would loose his show, at least on the network he’s on. A cable network would surely pick him up. Most likely Fox News as they love having him on to expound their propaganda/agenda/narrative. We could see the faces and his body’s telltale signs when the Doctor was speaking. “Dr.” Phil proves black folks like myself right ALL the time. Big Facts! 💪🏽💯

Okay, if facts govern. How about these facts. For about 90% of America’s existence, euro-Americans were legally allowed to terrorize, marginalize and deny black Americans earned wealth and agency. And over 100 black Americans towns and communities were attacked, destroyed and assets stolen by euro-Americans before WWII. For perspective, over 95% of America’s towns and cities were created prior to 1915. I bet if you examine your town it was likely founded prior to 1900. Euro-Americans were subsidized for 90% of this country’s existence where the wealth, power and resources were concentrated with euro-Americans. Now, how does one generation of “education” account for 90% of manufactured outcomes for euro-Americans? Black Americans always valued education. Why do you think the public school system was created? It didn’t exist until black Americans instigated for it post euro-American enslavement of black Americans. It is shameful because you all know what is right, but are to selfish to effectuate needed remedies. To say, black home cultural practices need correction is simply not true. How would you know unless you live there? It’s only based on stereotypes and innuendo.

We are waking up to it! We are seeing huge shifts with black folks moving AWAY from this racist nonsense and back to a more conservative mindset.

28:40 No ones suggesting we dont teach history, but do it equitably(to use their buzzword). Meaning if you're gonna teach about white men being evil to indigenous people, make sure you also teach of the atrocious acts commited by those same indigenous people against each other. If you're going to teach about the slave trade industry, be sure to teach them that it was their fellow black brothers that put them in chains to be sold. The selective history briefings and subsequent shame they throw at white people is a big problem. Natives were raping and slaughtering one another before we got here. Black people were enslaving one another for centuries before the bad white man did it. In fact there are more people being sold into slavery today than 200 years ago, many of which are coming through our southern border, but I digress. Please tell ALL of the story, not just the parts that push your "white man bad" narrative.

That guy was OD'ing on fentynal and had a history of abuse and violence. The corner found his death caused by overdose but the police office trying to stay alive while managing that wonderful citizen is in prison right now. Because he is white and it looked bad. Why not stop forgetting American history. This guy is crying like a baby. I love Italians, Irish, Scottish, Germans West Indians and especially, black African Americans. 18th and 19th centuries were rough in the USA. No welfare. Only grit, good values and character. That, is USA success. Not one rejection then you cry about it. The white kid on the panel knows the past. People of his race, many different nationalities came to Ellis Island, and hustled and found each other. When they found each other, they helped each other. All of the races, collectively, did the same. Wnen races crossed over, out of the commiunity, they helped each other spiritually. Why? They knew what it took to find each other. The woman on the panel can not help him. She is an enabler. She can't show him how to look at himself because she doesn't really know what he is dealing with. He was taught to see himself as a struggling white kid, like his mother saw herself. He was taught that he is not like other "upper class" white kids. But he obviously was taught to remember he is white like the upper class white kids. Unfortunately, he wasn't taught that he wouldn't get chosen amongst them eitner. Why? Same race, but, different mindset. Money breeds money, priviledge breeds priviledge, guts will breed guts, talents breeds talent. Notice that the last sentence is not race. You can't get people to g8ve you opportunity if they can't see ability. When this kid on the panel does get a break, his break will be tough. Why, people in authority will want see if he can deliver. How do we know as an audience that he is worthy. Are we supposed to trust his crying racism. Is he race baiting?

My own experience working in a factory was that black people got easier jobs because they would blame whites for giving them one of the harder jobs because they were black. So I was a white female being put on harder jobs because I would do the job. I saw this many times and yes other white people talked about among themselves too. We had a black man in HR for a while and I heard blacks talk to him in the plant saying hey help me get this or that because he was a brother. I saw he felt the pressure from blacks and he eventually left that position because it was hard to be fair to all workers without blacks putting him down. That was 20 years ago, but it is a problem. Whites feel like they have to tiptoe around black workers. I am not racist, I respect all people who do their jobs and I wish we could just see people and not their skin color. One woman I admire most is black. She is black, she helps all people when she can.

You are the one who called color the disadvantage in your workplace. HR doesn't see color. At least what I have experienced. HR tries to keep people from complaining. Had you complained, perhaps, you would have been chosen to move out of the company, move to less paying position away from your issue, or written up for causing HR to do their job. You don't really know what circumstances for others existed. You only know what gossip you were told. It is like the person who tells you that they purchased a new electric Tesla car, 2025, and got it fully loaded for 40% off MSRP and low payments. When in reality, they paid 40% more for basic features and can't afford the insurance or the charger chord was lost and they couldn't afford the car payments because they had bad credit or no credit. They took a bad deal because it was fashionable to drive. The car is not a real Tesla, but an industry sampler with a name brand tacked on for survey purposes, designer. But hey, you will never know.

Similar story in the late 90s I was a poor white kid. I had dyslexia, ADHD, and my home life was war zone so I was always struggling with everything that comes along with that… not to mention being picked on because my clothes were from our local dollar store, way to big or way to small because I grew out of them. My mom denied any help for my learning disability because she said dyslexia was just an excuse for lazy people.
Mom had an undiagnosed and untreated mental illness, parents had addiction issues that left my sister and I to raise ourselves.
It was frustrating to see my friends who were native, Hispanic or black got free college and housing meanwhile I worked full time at a job that would pay for my college but it limited what college I could attend and what I could study. I missed out on all the college clubs and activities because I had to work full time and go to school full time. One semester I had 21 credit hours… I had to have the dean of the college sign off on it. I explained that my work paid for my tuition and next year tuition was increasing and my tuition reimbursement would no longer cover the cost of college so I needed to graduate by the end of the school year. I graduated with honors… you have no idea what an accomplishment that was for me and how hard I had to work to achieve that.

I used to work at a huge company that held us hostage to DEI meetings. And trust me, it was hostage. It became so bizarre, with a white executive woman berating us about our white privilege (my mom grew up on a mountain in Appalachia with an outhouse that had to be cleared of copperheads every so often - haha), and about how she read books about her "whiteness" (I kid you not). Commenting anything but agreement made you unenlightened. I would leave those meetings feeling a little dirty for being born. It finally started toning down when the black employees began defending their coworkers. Hilariously, she'd blow off the black employees who disagreed with her statements and twist it around, telling them they couldn't see it because they'd been beaten down all their lives. Yes, she'd argue with the blacks over what being black was. It was odd. These were very talented and professional black employees that certainly did not identify as downtrodden victims. Ultimately, the black employees got tired of hearing their coworkers be bashed for their white skin and became increasingly more confrontational and defensive with her. She remained with the same condescending smirk on her face as the woman in this video who advocates for DEI. Yep, divisive in one way, but ultimately unintentionally pulling us all together in respectful defense of coworkers.

I don't "identify" as white. I am white/caucasian by birth. We are all born into our race, therefore we should not be judged by that unchangeable fact. Individual abilities and personalities and work ethic should be the criteria for success. Financial challenge is the real difference which can affect the outcome of employment and education and opportunities. Putting down one race in deference to another is the definition of racism. DEI is racist.

I am Hispanic married to a white man and my youngest child is mixed. We live in Hawaii and see the reverse racism here. Even a Polynesian government employee told my husband that Hawaii is one of , and if not the most , racist states, only that it is against Caucasians. (Portuguese though are well liked and have a long history in Hawaii)
So yes DEI is racist and awful and racism against whites is real. Even the DMV makes it hard here in Hawaii for my husband to transfer his drivers license while making it a bit easier for me even though we have the same documentation!
      So frustrated and angry!!

I'm Caucasian/Native American, and my skin isn't white but a lighter brown, depending on the season. My daughter and her father were both Native American with brown skin.
I can't speak for him as he's passed a number of years after we divorced.
My daughter also passed due to a chronic illness at 10 years of age, 26 years ago. I hate the thought that the reason she or even myself would be hired for any employment for either our genders or our skin color/ethnicity instead of what we were able to bring to any employment, because somehow we were considered inferior to someone whose skin was lighter than ours and/or our gender. How about we remove asking those things on a job application or resume and let our experience and qualifications speak for us.

I worked in poor school districts for 25 years. The schools received tons of money. There were laptops for every kid and lots of resources. The problem is that the parents did not respect the teachers and they taught their children to disrespect the teachers. Kids were extremely defiant. when students were sent to the office for bad behaviors, nothing happened. When students got in trouble, it was always the teachers fault. So teachers were constantly leaving. Parents need to be held accountable. And by the way, every kid had an iPhone.

I hate that term reverse racism and it makes no sense. Racism is racism it does not matter the color of the person who is being racist nor does it matter the color of the person on the receiving end. If you are making decisions based solely upon the race of an individual that is racist not reverse racist. Reverse racist would be the opposite of racist and therefore would not be racist. Words matter. And no changing the definition on Urban dictionary is not going to change what the word actually means

First, you have to make those areas safe for those teachers and resources you need to come there. This will be controversial BUT if people dont want to be treated as "undesirable", they need to battle the mindset of "being undesirable".

many years ago people like me who have a disability were treated like lessor and talked down to as in we could not do what everyone can do. over the years that changed and we were starting to be treated as an equal. DEI has not only set us back back it drags all minorities with us. "Oh you can not do what we can do, that's ok we will make it easier/dumb it down for you"
