    You never cease to amaze me with your ability to problem solve by eliminating roadblocks and simplifying things. You should see some of the rat's nest God-awful workaround solutions I've come up with on some of the older proprietory computer components I still run across from time to time. (DEC is the worst. They purposely cross-wired common cables so you had to buy theirs... which I can't do since they went out of business in 1998.) At any rate, you'd cringe at some of my "solutions"... but they work.

      Thanks! I've done some pretty janky things too.

    This was soooo awesome wiring. I really love your wiring videos. I hope there’s more coming soon. Nice Job Jason. You are the best

    Great job on this! I looks great in my collection now that it’s all shiny (and functional)

    Elevator buttons are even more special when you realize how many fingers pressed them.

    • @stlelevators

      Or you realize how nasty the buttons are xD

    A park key switch! This thing is a treasure. It's now safe within the community.

    the propetary board you could have tried wiring the lights and buttons on the traces but that would be difficult

    Ever think you’d wire the Otis Series 1 COP in the Museum? I think that would look cool.

    • @stlelevators
      @stlelevators  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I might. I want to get mine together too lol

    Very nice. Can you please do a wiring tutorial on the Schindler HT Intermediate Call Station? Because I know you’ve already wired the terminal ones.

    • @stlelevators
      @stlelevators  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      It’s pretty much the same idea. Gotta make a custom circuit.

    Stl elevators I was wondering why didn’t you use the single call button boards on this call button?

  • @BigKitty1011
    @BigKitty1011 4 ปีที่แล้ว

    Very nice! The polish is spectacular and the 3D printed board looks solid! And apart from my purely cosmetical thought on the priority service LED's (they seem a little too directional), I have no complaints about the end result! Looking forward to more amazing wiring videos! 👍
    (Also, is this your panel, or someone else's?)

    • @stlelevators
      @stlelevators  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks! I also think the LEDs are too directional. This is someone else's.

    I think Otis Series 1 were the best buttons by Otis ever made (apart from Lexan) What do you think are the best Otis buttons Jason?

    • @stlelevators
      @stlelevators  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Well now you have to make a choice. Series 1 or Lexan. I really like touch buttons because of how interesting they are.

    Could you convert the Otis S1 COP in the museum into a simulator?

    • @stlelevators

  • @ex5138

    Is that from Europe? It might be since it says priority service instead of independent service.

    For a while, I had my status on discord as Copying Proprietary OTIS info, reminded me of this. Would be a shame if someone actually did..

    Why not diffused LEDs? I'd be driven crazy by the bright spots produced by clear domed LEDs 🤣

      @@stlelevatorsyou can make your own "bootleg" (🤣) diffused LEDs with sandpaper in a pinch.
