Very informative video! I just ordered this gun, for home defense (it's a bit too large to me for concealed carry). I was looking for a full-sized 9mm, both SA- and DA-capable, with high round-capacity. This had the best price of those which attracted my attention. Looks-wise I would have preferred the Taurus PT92, but it was $160 more, so I went with the TH9. I am sure that, performance-wise, I will be satisfied with it.
I plan to buy two of them, I already have two of the PT111's and several other Taurus handguns and none of them are what I would call a bad gun. Good Vedio
Neither was I until I shot this gun. Taurus has stepped up their game. Got one new in box for less than 300 before taxes and fees. They offer the TH in 9mm, 40 cal and more recently 45. Great pistol.
One firing pin and one trigger spring out of what, more than 200k of these built and sold. I would call that a dam good pistol. Seeing that Glock comes with cheap plastic sights and recoil rod and a thin frame and o wait lol almost forgot PLASTIC mags all for the low price of 600.00+ dollars. Taurus TH9 is far greater pistol with real Novak sights for half the price

I wonder when Taurus is going to release an optics ready platform? Personally, IMO they are missing the mark with not having offered something with the last releases. G3 and TH9

@@DCopp does the safety feel like normal manual safety where you can feel you turn off the safety without pushing down harder than it needs to since I have the G3 series.
@@wernesgruder1 This is obviously an older comment by now, but Canik TP9s are not $299 anymore. They *were* the most reliable gun for the least amount of money, but the price has gone up now.

They are great. Really easy to shoot and feature packed.
I have this Taurus th9 full size I can conceal carry it with no problem. I prefer it over the g3 because the th9 feels better in my hands.
The grip is so nice

I disagree. If people are only spending $250ish on their platform gun, they probably aren't gonna spend $300+ on an optic. But who knows...

Why risk getting a lemon? $299 gets you a NATO spec Canik TP9. Tried and trusted, something you can’t say about Taurus.
