Others have said to shift between sizes on the pattern. What is your opinion on this method? Thank you for your time.
Question: What if I want something 'fitted' by more 'relaxed fit' instead of so streamline? Would you pin as you did and then... back off a half inch or more to make it 'looser' without turning it into a potato sack?
Pretty much I would just keep pulling material in evening across the various swans untill I get it as fitted as I want. Or you can pin it tight and then loosen it till you get the look you want.
The few times I purchased "Simplicity" patterns -- I have come to the conclusion that they are NEVER 'simple'.
