Ahhh Rebecca, you reading my comment blessed me so much. Just the way you said my name made me feel special. Because I knew you remembered me. To continue my saga, on October 1st we set out to explore our beautiful country in our van. 2 weeks in, we put our van in storage and flew home. My mother had gone into the hospital and we needed to be home. My daughter and sister were with her but I have been her caregiver for 6 years. So it felt awful that I wasn’t here when she went in. I got home on Friday and she passed on Monday. Her precious heart just wore out. We had seen her decline in the last year so it wasn’t a shock. But of course that doesn’t make it easier. Knowing that she is whole now in heaven helps. But losing her is of course still so hard. Since everything has settled down, diamond painting has become my therapy. Okay, that’s enough sad stuff. And the longest comment I have ever written. 🧡🧡🧡🐢🐢🐢
If I had to choose a favorite to watch, I will say you! Love that you interact with all of us and you are down to earth and that’s awesome. I am really enjoying watching the event!
My favourite part of Christmas is the week in-between ❤ my fiance is off work for the whole week. So is my dad and we can all spend quality time together. I stayed at my brother's last year to babysit my nephew so they could go to midnight mass, so waking up with my nephew and spending the morning with him was amazing!
I can't decide on what my favourite thing about Christmas is but here's my top favourite things: - the decorations - buying as much and spending as much on people as I would like to - the lead up to Christmas - wrapping Christmas presents - opening gifts on Christmas day and seeing people reactions to what I've got them However, so far my favourite part about Christmas this year has been picking out presents and completing/ doing Christmassy diamond paintings Absolutely loving these daily videos Which do you prefer Christmas eve or Christmas day? Do you have any traditions that you've kept from your childhood or are there any traditions that youve made within the last few years?
Hi Rebecca and zesties. I’m watching this in bed after spent three hours wrapping presents. My back is killing me. I have left everything in the kitchen ready to continue in the morning. I need to get my wrapping done because I always end up doing two of my daughters wrapping as well. Don’t get me wrong I love wrapping presents. This year I have bought a heavy duty sellotape dispenser and a wrapping paper cutter. It makes it so much easier especially the sellotape dispenser. I don’t let hubby help as I like to do it on my own but he does get rid of all the boxes because I just throw them in a corner. After they are wrapped they are stored in my craft room away from my 13 grandchildren. Thank you for another great video.
I did my sections this morning. I’m doing 1 kit at a time and so I did the top row of canvas A. I’m doing as much as I can, when I can, as I know it’s going to get crazier here and I don’t want to fall behind like last year. In fact I did 2023’s canvas this November. I really enjoyed working on it and it looks stunning in real life. Tree is half done, I’ll do the rest tomorrow. I got an orange pen and I’ve had a quick test and it’s a lovely writer.
Thankfully, trying to do a bit more and getting Christmas decor up has allowed my mental health to at least be a bit better, even if it's temporary or not constant; it's better than not always feeling that way. I am down to 4 days left of the DAS advent calendar, but didn't have the mental energy to manage it for the last few days, so instead I am working on finishing a budget mountain scene 30 by 40 that's a WIP that needs to be finished. I also had to restart my mom's Christmas present crocheted blanket for the... fourth time, so it will inevitably be a post-Christmas gift at this point. At least I am less likely to mess up with accidentally increasing the width, as I switched to a continuous solid hexagon pattern. I still don't know what the border will be, but that's a later problem for me. My favorite part of Christmas is definitely sitting by Christmas lights, with a cup of egg nog or hot cocoa, and reading or crafting. There's something just so nice about the glow of the lights and not feeling any worries.
Heyhey Rebecca and zestis, thank you so much for this video, christmas is celebrating Alone day but with your videos on thé background i shall not be Alone. Shalome and thx
LOL, My 6 dogs have just gone running out to find Luna. Sometimes they don't hear her but I chuckle everytime they, do as I tell them she is not here but on the video I am listening to. I am sure if you ever came to visit they would think you were an old friend as they hear your voice most days while I am Diamond painting & they are napping at my feet. Thank you & hope every one is doing well. Hugs from Victoria Australia
Hi Rebecca, thanks for your concern about Canada’s postal strike. As for my AMZ order, I got your shipping notice about 10 days before out posties went on strike, so I suspect it’s in a mail bag that was about to be delivered the day of the strike 😄 as for my current wips I only work on the mini advent painting during your daily waffles, then other times in the day I work on the Woodland Winter. I’m on day 11. I have a second (round drill) advent project from a Canadian company that I work on in the evenings. Christmas wrapping/decor and meal planning is squeezed in between diamond painting 😂 ❤ from 🇨🇦 edited to add - I finished the little advent!
I have been looking in each day but not always at 4pm. I have wrapped all gifts and I have delivered the gifts to Wales and posted 3 others down South. It's early but they realise it is the only way when living around so many boxes. We are out for a meal on the weekend with my son and his girlfriend so they can take their gifts and then there will be no more Christmas parcels to give except my husband but we have decide to wait till we are in the new house , we have told the boys to send vouchers so we can decide what we want later. It's looking like we may be exchanging next week. xTina
Hi Rebecca, the video to go out to make a Christmas wreath the evening was great so are your videos will hang the wreath later this morning then go to work.
Hi Rebecca! I also have one of those advent puzzles to work on each day. I love the concept so much! I purchased a little android tablet from Walmarts Black Friday deals just to use it for pattern keepers it was 59 usd so It was worth it. The screen is big enough to fit 6 sections perfectly. I guess I will have to try a haed in the future now that I’m learning pattern keeper and have invested in the little tablet. Just don’t think it will be next month or anything. I’m on the hunt for the perfect pattern.
Yay I think my ever moment order is in the uk. I’m hoping for a delivery in the next few days. Now I need to find a way to sneak it in the house without hubby finding out I have bought more diamond paintings. My dac one was delivered when I was out. I was hoping I could pass it off as a Christmas present delivery but not a chance as it had diamond art club written all over the box. But he knows me by now. However when January comes round I mustn’t buy anymore as I have far too many but we’ll see how that goes
I looked at the DAC new releases but, yes there were too many to choose from so I didn’t buy any. Considering I had to place an order for more log book and stash pages from you as i didn’t realise how big my stash was till i started writing it down, I thought this was a good idea. Eagerly awaiting my order from the “early” december store update so i can finally finish my stash and spares storage.
Hi Rebecca and Zesties, Congratulations on charting your Adventure painting. I know you said there was a minor mistake but I decided that I wouldn’t try to find it. It’s rather like looking for a blemish and we all have those😉. November went so quickly. I had a CT and a bone scan on the 11th, my birthday on the 14th, our oldest son flew in from the UK on the 19th (for a week’s stay) and then I had an appointment to find out the results of the scans on the 27th. They were really good - no evidence of cancer in the bones or lymph glands. There is bone degeneration in the shoulders, back, knees, and right hand (I’m guessing the tracer picked up the carpal tunnel). I think it’s just a matter of keeping an eye on things now. I’m going to keep going to the Naturopath because I reckon he’s done more good than any of the allopathic remedies. We haven’t put up our tree yet and I’m feeling a bit anxious on a few fronts. I’m trying to finish a few paintings as the CT allows. Blessings to you and all Zesties.
I'm finally catching up after a disastrous 3rd (C) day. I accidently set the paper pattern on a portion of the glued canvas so I had to clean that up. Then I mistakenly placed the same row of 10 x 10 x 30 squares twice! So I had to pull all those drills I placed off the canvas. What a mess! At that point I decided I was going to buy a cheap Android tablet and get Pattern Keeper so I emailed you for the PDF. Thank you for such a quick response! I will be getting the tablet and loading the pattern before I attempt day 7! Afterall what could go wrong with that? 😀
Hi Rebecca, hope this finds you well. Have a question you make doing the squares look so easy and someone who resolutely hates doing squares, I’m doing them and trying to enjoy it but my question is do you find it easier working on a flat surface or on an easel with the squares because I’m having a really hard time on the easel.
My son has been sick the past couple of weeks so has not given me one single idea of what to get him for Christmas. 😡 So here it is the 5th of December and other than the custom painting of his dog I completed in October, I have no gifts purchased for him yet. His dog, however, has a new dog bed coming to him. 😂 I don’t know what I’m going to do about this situation…other than gift cards, I guess. I haven’t been brave enough to get him gifts without hints from him since he was a teenager. Now that he is 38 years old, I’m definitely in the dark about what he wants. Blah…I mean…Bah humbug.

Hi Rebecca, thanks for your step method, it helps me very much with my squares... ❤❤
Finished up the whole day one painting. I didn’t find the mistake. But absolutely enjoyed the whole process. What fun!!

Hi Rebecca and Zesties, It’s horrific weather today, snowing 🌨️, windy, white outs and accidents everywhere. School buses are canceled

Watching day 5 on day 6
I had hoped to order the advent calendar this year but Canada post put the stop on that idea, been going on for weeks

Hello Rebecca and Zesties, I ordered a crystal advent calendar and it reached Canada but Canadian postal system is holding it hostage. 😢
Love the pen so much... but I think I am going to lose it 😭 IT'S ORANGE Pjelly's colour so i dont stand a chance 😪
