Ok this might be a kinda dumb question and a weird place to ask but I’ve had this question for a while. I’ll preface it with the fact that I’m a gay man with a non-binary sibling and almost all of my friends are queer. However, I don’t understand how someone would be considered both non-binary/gender neutral and be considered lesbian.
To my knowledge it's easier than saying non-binary persons assigned female at birth attracted to females. I feel like lesbian is a relationship filter that in this case is to signify that you yourself are looking for women who may be attracted to a person who may have women equipment. a lot of people forget that being trans / non-binary doesn't mean have had or are going to have bottom surgery
labels aren't a strict absolute definitor. you choose what fits you. sometimes that's something that's not entirely society's strict definition, but it's what feels right. the concept of he/him lesbians and enby lesbians have been around for like 50-60 years at this point.
