Mr Lino! Could you please find a way to do some flip tutorials. I’ve been working on them for a year and have not had much luck. Thank you for all you do and much love!
I learned skating on a park where the only real feature was a miniramp with a spine and i loved it! Really sad its such a unpopular feature. You can do sooo many different tricks!
When I was a kid, I remember being scared of the 5ft spine at my local skatepark. I was fine dropping in on a 13ft halfpipe, but the spine freaked me out. I actually started off just using the spine as a launch ramp and jumping over the other side before I felt comfortable teetering over the coping. I did do it the next time I came back to the park though.
I've always loved spines. In Anderlecht, near Brussels, there used to be an incredible skate park that had a 2m ramp with a spine, but one one end the ramp went up to 3.5m. If you dropped from there, you could flyyyyyyyyyyy!
I learned to jump a spine at Vans in Orlando in like 2003...but thats the best i can do.. I could never lock on to copings well enough to grind. I banged my shins up so bad on copings, 1 of the reasons i had quit. Getting shin guards when i start skating again 🤣
My issue is that everytime I go up the miniramps in my local park, I'm not able to stall on the coping, I have too much speed and normally land like 50cm forward... Any tip?
Spines are my favorite ramp tough the closest one is pretty far away
Spines are scary but feel amazing when you get the hang of them.

Haha here I am just learning how to float over a 5 foot spine last night for the first time. Thanks Ricardo, time to get the details refined!

Copins in general just have always scared me is there anyway to get over that 😂
My shins had it the worst from copings, I never got hurt so bad inline skating than just timing wrong in copings, I had shin fractures
