Nana Yaa never loose hope God is with u. Hearing this your story makes me have love for you ❤️♥️. Take good care of yourself I pray to meet you one day
Medical negligence in Ghana is a canker. My friend's wife died in Takoradi 2 years ago. We always let this go as a people, that is why it keeps happening.
My friend Edna also died through child birth in Takoradi 2 years ago. A lot of my female friends in Takoradi have all died through that process. Very sad 😢
@@phlexie She is the same person I am talking about. Her husband was my best man. Edna was a sweet sister I had known for some years. I couldn't believe it when I heard the news that faithful morning. A lot of these negligence are swept under the carpet.
Nana Yaa Brefo,I pray that Allah console you and your family then give your only son the best of all to become a great person as you're. I'm really emotional about your condition is very pathetic take heart❤

I really thank God for my wife papa. The best decision I have made in life was the day we decided to live in the UK. My wife went through a lot and I am thankful to God and UK National Health Service . She lost so much blood but she had two doctors and three nurses around her as well as a comforter and so she survived. I remember when she said I can’t breathe and I felt like loosing her but these people were so professional and very ready and so she and the baby were saved. Anytime my little daughter asks daddy do you want fufu I give thanks to God and the UK health system. Ghana please let learn and improve our health system especially for women. I am very saddened. God help us. Sekyedumasiba Barimah
Hmmm this is sad. I nearly lost my life while giving birth to my son in Sunyani. The midwife was so mean. When I said my baby was coming, she shouted at me and said go to sleep which baby is coming. And on the delivery bed, I nearly bled to death. But when I was in labour in Italy the way they treated me was different. They pampered me so much that, my delivery was so easy. Ministry of health should wake up.
Nana Yaa and all who have suffered in this way , my heart goes out for you. Take heart. God is with you. This happen to my ex wife had it not been because of a junior at school who is a next. Some nurses at Korle-bu and other hospital are just heartless.
I have 5 nurses who are my friends, captain am not a nurse but I know much better than them. So the president must wake up and support this programme. I like the programme bam!
I nearly lost my wife at Komfo Anokye hospital that was 2018 March, my wife survived by the grace of God, some Ghanaians doctors are full of shit thank God I got a doctor who was trained in USA saved my wife
Captain am crying watching your show this morning, our doctors need to be discipline, I lost my nephew in saint trust hospital in 2013.file just disappeared to date
23 years ago I almost lost my life and my daughter during childbirth at Korle bu hospital. The midwife was terrible , she left me whilst I struggled and screamed for help. It was a doctor who came to helped me deliver my baby after a long struggle. My baby was dying therefore was rushed to NICU due to lack of oxygen. This has led my daughter with a disability( hemiplegia) and epilepsy due to their negligence. I am dealing with the situation till today I’m sorry to hear Nana’s ordeal she went through. God continue to give you strength. My daughter is now with me in the UK and her epilepsy is being managed very well and I thank God for her life Thank you Captain and Angel TV for bringing this up
Am pleased to hear for the first time Ghanaians are discussing about medical negligence. I dont think the health care professionals have "any code of conduct that protect the public from any abuse. Am part of healthcare professionals in the UK I would love to be invited in your station to be in this kind of conversation. Nana Yaa am sorry to hear about your ordeal but thank God you are still alive. This goes to the healthcare professionals in Ghana that you have to have the passion in order to treat people with respect.and its not all about your knowledge. Secondly you have to see those patients as your family.member. Thanks to this programme well done
Captain may God bless you for this programme, Nana yaa take heart cuz nothing is too hard for the Lord. A nurse cancelled and tears my maternal book records into pieces, all because she couldn't see anything in my womb then prescribed a medicine for me for fibroid whilst it wasn't true
NANA YAA BREFO I KNOW SOMEONE WITHOUT A WOMB BUT GAVE BIRTH TO TWINS. GOD IS A " NSENKYERENE NYANKOPON" MIRACLE WORKER. GOD WILL BLESS YOU WITH TWINS VERY SOON. STOP CRYING
I went through the same at police hospital my first child i was in labour forv3 good day, the nurses refused to attend to me because i wasn't crying. And my second child after i had delivered i was bleeding because my first child i didn't bleed and when i called the nurse she asked if i hadn't given birth before i bled till my Hb level dropped to 5
This is so pathetic. Healthcare professionals are hailed like mini “gods” especially nurses and doctors in Ghana. When they’re being paid to serve the patients. They’re Very unprofessional, disrespectful, treat people like animals😢 The department of health needs to look into malpractice and negligent behaviors. This foolishness MUST STOP ! Nursing is a call to service and act of caring. I’m a proud NURSE
Nana Yaa Brefo please stand in for all Ghanaian ladies... it has been happening to so many innocent women.. so many women die because of the negligence of some unqualified nurses and Doctors...hhhmm..God have mercy on us
Please give Nana Yaa another hug for me. She should have sued the hospital, knowing what she knows now she should do a show on exposing negligence in those establishments hospital by hospital this ensure hospitals know they're been watched and monitored by the public
Am in Australia studying, and am really not happy here, but coming back to Ghana and remembering I would one day visit a Ghanaian hospital is what makes me sad, I had four successful CS in Ghana, but it was all due to the reason that my husband also works in the hospital, and during the surgery, you will hear them saying she is a staffs wife ooo so be careful, and I always fight with them a lot, so at times my husband gets embarrassed with me quarreling with the staff, but that is what saved me and my children because, at my second birth, I was bearing the same name with one other woman in the ward unknowingly, so they mentioned my name and when I responded, they said I should bring my child for his injection, and because I am trying my best not to have any problems with the nurses for my husband to have problems with me, I did not ask my usual questions that always bring problems as you know some Ghanaian hospital staff do not want to be questioned, though my child did not show any sign of illhealth after birth, and they injected my baby with the strongest antibiotic ever (that was what I learnt later) which was meant for another child, in another 15min she came back with another drug with same patient name, so at this point I wanted to know which drug again and why injecting him if he is not sick within fifteen mins, so we decided to go through the folder together and we realise the first and second drug wasn't meant for my four day old child. Then my husband now understands why I do quarrel with them. With this same child, during the CS, I realize my BP as gone as low as 40 on the machine and I know high and low BP are all not good, by then the team were chatting heartily with themselves on a different topic while conducting the CS, so I called their attention by signaling them to watch the BP machine when they saw the figure on the machine they quickly use an oxygen gas on me and fast they put things together and thank God am alive today. I wish am in Ghana, I will be there myself to share my stories because I really have a lot to share, but my worst experiences were at Korle-Bu. Some nurses at Korle- Bu, are very worst.
