madam if people don't on their subscriptions publicly then they won't show up as subscribed to the folks they have subscribed to. The list doesn't reflect full subscribers because not everyone subscriptions is set to public. That's why the numbers don't match

Be careful what info you consume Some try to help others and some just make content to grow their channel. Sharing invalid info is not helping anyone

Furthermore many times when I subscribe to someone I don’t see the number go up. TH-cam does not immediately show the accurate subscriber count and it depends on your number of subscribers. For example between 1-100 you might see an accurate count. Higher numbers there is a delay in the accurate number. I won’t claim to know the exact fact. This is from observation.
