Sickness limits freedom as much as a jail or prison, consuming our time, money, and potential. Yet, many believers struggle to believe God wants them well. The majority of Jesus’ ministry was dedicated to healing the sick. This raises the question: Why would Jesus focus so much on healing if God does not always intend to heal? What I don't understand is, why are there so many pastors and church going people that believe/teach against this when it's clearly in the Bible?
Kristen.. I think many have thought they stood in faith and did not get their healing..so they think healing, standing in faith doesn't work..there are many that say they are in faith when in fact they are not... I say this because of my own situation.. Real Faith will not fail... and keep in mind..we don't judge if we are healed by looking at our bodies.. Standing in faith is spiritual..it starts in the spirit and later manifests in the physical.. stand and never give up..stay in the word do not look at symptoms in your body as a gauge!!!
They are mixing old and new covenants together but we are no more under the Law covenant but under grace agreement

Ignorance of the Word...too busy, following the crowd (falling off the cliff), not surrendered in your mind, etc. The sower sows the seed (read all the reasons). You HAVE to renew your mind, discipline, etc. Holding EVERY THOUGHT CAPTIVE. Geesch!!!

I was healed of stage IV cancer by standing on the Word of God and putting feet to my faith. These teachings were instrumental in my healing. A revelation of God’s love for me coupled with praise for all He’s already done = healing! Thank you Jesus ❤

I'm so tired of hearing about sickness and the devil being defeated, yet our lived experiences are completely opposite. Even Barry's.
Our pastor doesn't believe God wants us healed every time. He and his sons declare almost every Sunday they have ADD, and anxiety. They claim it runs in their family. So sad. I pray for them.
They must not know that Jesus took care of generational curses at the cross, and they hold the power of life and death in their tongue. They are speaking death so sad .

Why would you sit under someone who does not believe in healing? I will not allow someone to pour fear, doubt and unbelief into me. It took me too long to discover this truth for me to sit under someone who does not have the revelation of healing.

Anyone, please help me understand this statement by Barry. He said that sin is a root cause of sickness; then why are babies born with sickness or ailments that have not sinned? Also, if Christ forgives our past present and future sins; then we should not have to deal with sickness. Sorry, I’m confused just looking for understanding. 💕
We aren't talking about individual sins, but rather the curse of sin unleashed by Adam and Eve. Babies are born sick because of the sin of Adam. It has infected the entire human race. We have to deal with all of the effects of sin in the earth, but redemption has given us the authority to establish God's will in our lives. Blessings!
Barry is not referring to personal sin, he means the sin and fall of mankind. All humanity is subject to sin and death because of Adam and Eve. We are redeemed and restored to God when we accept Jesus. The key is to continue to renew our minds to the goodness of God and redemption through Jesus.
People are born into sin. That's why He was mentioning Adam and Eve. The Whole earth is in sin by default since the garden of Eden

I had a lady ask me if He healed all people, why did He just one person at the pool of Bethesda? Why didi’t He heal everyone that was waiting for the Angel to stir the water?

@@carolbell4837 Carol..there is nowhere in the bible that verifies the angel in the water tale...and Jesus healed this one because he was ready to receive..maybe the others were not ready... if you are saved ask Jesus this question when you see him in heaven..
The others were not looking to Jesus, but rather looking to a myth. All who came to Jesus got healed.

I’ve been praying for my pastor’s son who is 23 and lives with cerebral palsy. My pastor is an incredible teacher. verse by verse.
