I don't see the chemistry but I respect their family. Anyway, I have endless love for Kajol. She's brilliant, selfless, and remains honest to herself and her work. You know, people say the same thing about Jennifer Lawrence being one of the most unsophisticated Hollywood actresses (I'm using her as a comparison because they're both extremely successful actresses who have their share of naysayers), but they're not vulgar by any means. It's not like she's being inappropriate. Kajol is bold, fearless, and doesn't need validation. I admire that so much.

bengali nor marathi she cant speak any of languages, neither knows any of the celebrations in marathi pr bengali prperly except attendin adurga puja startrd by her gandfather who was a bengali by heart . but ajay is a pure punju and thus this cultureless woman atleast has got some cultural identity.
Tamal Basu I fully agree with you but I visited KOLKATA and DELHI 2yrs ago , I was amused to see that Delhites- Bengali and Calcutta elites are BENGALI by names but their BENGALI is poor and so is their cultural identity. 90% zee bangla music is sung by the artists and participants are hindi songs; most judges spoke in hindi ( no idea how good ). I went to DACCA and jessore and realized that BENGALI culture is truly intact in Bangladesh. I was amazed to see the Dakha and jessore ,far developed than west Bengal and Calcutta. in fact Kolkata appeared to be a slum ghetto. 99% Bengali in London speak Bengali thru parents as reference as I visit London 2-3 times a year. Bengalies (india) very few come as foreign students , majority of the students are south Indians, gujrati. as medical doctors 100% south Indians and few Punjabi. Bengal has no place at present here in USA
dhaka is fully arabic Much worse than this ... They utter arabic words wjhen the bengali words are there . Like Father in law calls son's wife as ''Bouma'' But rest all family members call ''Bhabi'' when the actual word is ''Boudi'' . They call water Paani which is Urdu when the bengali word is ''Jal'' . They say that is hindu word . But that is wrong the Hindu word for Water is ''Neer'' and Not jal . They call breakfast as Nasta ...again a Urdu word it should be Jalkhabar. They call anyone in road as bhaiya even the girls call their boyfriend as bhaiya before they propose and Bhaiya is a Urdu word . The people in calcutta call as Dada which is a pure bengali word and none in india calls as dada except bengalis. So dont talk about the few notable sophisticated people in dhaka like humayun ahmed . They are a class of their own and they are a rarest minority . The actual bangladesh is in rural bangladesh where they are a hochp[och fusion of bengalis trying desparately tio imitate arabs and their culture including names
that is history and giving blood as to keep bengali culture and Not bengali language 2) That same bengali culture was washed away with Jmat e islami, BNP and Zia Ur Rahman 3) In Zia regime bangladesh became islamic republic , member of Organisation of Islamic Country and arabic words like bismliahh Rahman was chanted before the parliament starts ,which Bangabandhu Mujib never made and was neither done when he was alive . He always used to address people as shuvo shakal or good morning. His address in dhaka purely said its a Secular country with BENGALI as main language and bengali should be made pure as pure as possible BUT after Zia it was a semi urdu republic , even during jamaats time the political hoarding were also written in arabic and bengali in dhaka at same time . After those shahids of 1953 then came Razakars, Al-Badr and Al-Shams and that is reality of bangladesh . Those shahids were supported by india But what about Razakars, Al-Badr and Al-Shams ? what about Salahuddin Quader Chowdhury and Ali Ahsan Mujahid ??? Why were there street protest when this dalals of arabs were hanged ? Why was there violent killings and fighting when Abdul Quader Molla was taken to Court ??? This is real face of Bengal in bangladesh today . Infact Abdul Quader Molla has ordered that khutbah in Mosque to be addressed in Urdu and wriiten and circulated in Arabic as well

I find it odd that he often cuts her off mid sentence. Hardly letting her speak. However, hats off to them for creating a stable home for their children. Like everybody else they are humans I'm sure they've had some joint family challenges but the fact that they are together since 1999 is evidence that they are ( including the in-laws) mature and stable people.
