some mistakes there: -rift guardians with adds do not have less life than all the others, they have in fact more life (but only like 5-10%) -stinging winds and shrouded moors are arguably at least as good of a map than for example arreat crater. If you're really fishing you should stick to the top 3 you mentioned -you forgot to get more into detail regarding mob types. if you see this video as a noob you get the impression that only big fat mobtypes are worth your time which is not true. there are small mobs that can appear in high numbers for massive progress / Area Dmg (spiders, vile swarms, etc). also it wouldve been helpful to mention the cultist -> thrall transformation for pushing purposes. just some things that I noticed while listening to this video.
Bluddshed - I always get stuck in the transition to end game every season. I get my headrigs gift, farm gear until I can do T13 or speed GR70ish and then I get bored because loot upgrades become so far and few in between. I make alternate characters and then I get lost in the weeds with multiple characters to play and never end up pushing any one of them to 100+ GRs Can you make a video with a list of achievements / goals I should strive for as I progress? Maybe just a list of things to focus on once you are farming T13 and how to get to GR100+
yoshdawg - it's pretty simple: get ancient gear as much as u can. level extra gems to 80 at least for augments. 90+ would be a bit better. get 1000 paragon and go for it. but this means grinding, boring grindind. i barely can do 100 offseason :)

I love the narrow corridor maps because mobs can only come at you from one direction and I always know I'm going the right direction because there's no branches. I hate the big open maps because I usually get 3-4 elite packs spawn capping the entrance. I will try to learn to like them, though. My highest clear to date is only a 94, so I think this video will really help with that. Thanks man!
TH-cam needs more videos like this. Hands down one of the BEST videos I've ever watched. I could care less about tier list, or who's crying about what, I want good applicable information. Videos like this, and Duski's rat run's explained videos are prime examples of the kind of videos TH-cam needs more of. I'd love to see a meta breakdown series where each roll in the meta was broken down and explained in detail. The internet has enough build guides, but no where is there a comprehensive breakdown of how to do meta runs. Ok I'll stop rambling (long video earned a long comment lol) but great video, I hope to see more like this from you in the future. I don't care how long they are, if your giving good advice I'll watch for hours.

Imho for corpse lancer Hamelin is worse, because when you get that window of LOD you want to hit guardian with everything and not the mobs, which is unavoidable in case Hamelin starts to generate mobs. You have to be extra careful to not activate LOD at the same time. Also if you have Nemesis bracers you can spawn elite with pylon even after you get 100 completion.
Hey man big fan of your videos. I got into playing D3 on switch a few weeks ago and got a DH to 89GR with your tips much thanks! Im running a multishot build with Envious Blade in the cube in the place where most people would put Dawn and wondering why more people haven't thought of it?! this guide is actually helpful as I played the last week of season 13 and that was it so I didn't really learn too much but now I'm back in the game this is great to know about maps and what mobs are good.
Speaking of unavoidable attacks, Belial was such a prick when I fought him on Torment VII. I wasn't very well geared back then. The whole fight was fine until he was near death and started spamming unavoidable green pools everywhere. They killed me instantly. I tried adding defense, but no amount of defense could keep up with that crap. Finally I went the opposite route. Became a glass cannon, and basically killed him before he could spam it more than twice.
several things 1. You cannot choose which map to start gr because the map is random and there is no way to start gr when the map is not good and then stop get iut of the game and try agian 2. You cannot choose which demons or monsters will encounter you 3. You can't decide which Pylon you will get because the map is random again. 4. The percentage you get at the end of each gr, primal ancient legandery geair is zero-zero because the map is a candle and random
how and where do i even go or to start the solo greater rift? nobody has the right answer..is it only for seasonal? i beat the campaign and all i got is the adventure bounties..does it need to be public or private. so confused with this rift thing..
I’ve gotten two shield pylons in one rift on the same floor so I don’t understand why people say you can’t get the same one twice when I got them back to back within seconds of each other

I'm not a top player but from what it works like wouldn't it do amazing dmg against RG (because of the atk speed and bane of the stricken combined) Also i didn't look through all your videos, but do you have a guide on what to look for if you want to speed farm rifts? you mentioned it should be possible to close a rift in about 1 minute with sunwuko (or LoN, not sure) WoL. I was able to do it in about 3 minutes with sunwuko LoN (especially amazing with epiphany)
Hmmm... As a Chicken-Doc, I find it fastest to run from elite pack to elite pack and just kill whatever ends up around them. Kiting mobs takes way too long. Same goes for other "speed" classes. When using AoE damage classes (like multi-shot DH), I get really fast clear speeds spraying while I run and just killing everything before they even get on screen. Again, kiting mobs takes way longer. Maybe it's just me, but kiting died with EQ Rangers, Druids, and Necros :)
I agree with you regarding AoE classes. My favorite build is DH Multishot. However, all the top builds seem to be elite farming builds. In the current season, the top DH builds are Shadow Impale and the N6M4 build, which is interesting. There are no DH Multishot builds in the leaderboards at this time (that I can find). I'm not very good at elite pack hunting compared to spray and clear, so the leaderboards are very elusive for me. Getting to GR upper 90s isn't bad, but the top Shadow build is doing nearly 130.
hey Bluddshed, I've just gotten into D3 again recently. 30 hours into my monk, two items off full WoL sunwuko build. Missing kyo's blade and incense torch.. Two full days of grinding t10 grifts, I just can't seem 2 find them (this is while also upgrading rares and bloodsharding).. Know any ways to increase my chances? Or is this just a case of RNG
quick question for your WoL Monk. I see top builds use 20% fire damage over crit damage on the amulet. is 20% fire damage better than 95~100% crit damage?
all of the bosses make certain animations before they cast a spell, learn the animation and you can juke anything they cast. I think it's only butcher who has a unjukable chain spell that's instant
The Warpath page is from 2016. Are you sure Blizzard hasn't changed any of the progression for the mob types? I thought they actually changed that a while ago to prevent mob type fishing.
With Frenzy and you have it stacked 5 times is there anything you have to press that actually does something xtra. because I'm wondering why it would stack a number of times without then doing other things . any help appreciated
mick coram if you’re referring to the barbarian’s primary skill frenzy that stacks 5 times, you may be missing the slight increase in attack speed that comes with every stack. Increased attack speed invariably translates to higher dps

Why are builds different on X1 and PC? For example the multi-shot maurader sux while impale destroys and FB Meteor builds blow goats while DMO FO mops up everything almost instantly? I heard certain things aren't on par with PC and not to kiss up to Bluddshed but he says "play it your way" while most other youtubers say "this is the bestest S build" derp! so I'd like a better point of view from Bluddshed. While I'm here, Bluddshed please mention a recommended paragon level for certain greater rifts. So many tubers say "wizard can do GR117, derp!" but my Paragon721 wizard stuck at GR84. its more about your items and your experience with a particular build (also the things mentioned in this video here obviously help) 2nd most important is paragon / augmenting gear. for reference, i just cleared a 107 solo in hc on my wiz. paragon 880 (but many augments 80). so I think you need to work on the build mechanics as your main priority. the current best wiz builds can easily clear 90+ with no paragon at all if you got the set and supporting legendaries. which stats you need on your items you can easily look for in the many build guides out there. the rest comes naturally (paragon / augment )

nobody likes act 5 graveyard map? it has high density of elites, small map, and you can get 100% if you clean it all. I've encountered it alot of times in rifts, but idk if it's in Greater rifts.

Austin Floyd you honestly just wanna spec for LpH (life per hit) and then just make sure you got vitality on the right pieces and then make sure you got 50 points in life on your paragon
I fucking hate the mortar guys. And the wall guys. And the ice shard guys. And the arcane beam guys. And poison haha I pretty much hate the game because I suck at paying attention to the small details
1. Good gear via RNG 2. Open maps via RNG 3. Good mob types via RNG 4. Good pylons at optimal locations via RNG All in all, everything you need to know about ARPG games in general is that you don't have to know anything at all. If RNG is not with you, no knowledge or preparations will yield satisfactory results.
Idk I just started a new character on ps4 (wanted to try on console) and I'm now para 80 with several ancient and set items after only like a day of play time. It's not really too hard...

Area damage isnt a stat that you even encountered as valuable yet for that matter, the single most valuable stat for MOST endgame pushing. Oh yeah, pushing, thats just out the question, you barely started farming basic unaugmented ancient gear and have no legendary gems

none of this really matters on any classes before GR90-100

I always throw a jem on my upgrade legendary and it gives me good stuff. Yes it might be bullshit but it always seems to do the trick 😂

Vesalius auto attacks got no counters too. Super annoying when you got no shields or dodge chance.

Movement speed affects your movement, attack speed effects your attacks. crazy right?

Pc is also a much different play style, being able to use your mouse with abilities is a huge difference compared to using a controller

Austin Floyd you honestly just wanna spec for LpH (life per hit) and then just make sure you got vitality on the right pieces and then make sure you got 50 points in life on your paragon

Area damage isnt a stat that you even encountered as valuable yet for that matter, the single most valuable stat for MOST endgame pushing. Oh yeah, pushing, thats just out the question, you barely started farming basic unaugmented ancient gear and have no legendary gems
