i have the same situation. I loss my hearing in my right ear after a really bad car accident. People tell me that I speak too loudly. I also taught young children for many years and sometimes my teacher voice comes forth which adds to my loudness. I was able to get a Baha hearing aid that attaches to a screw put in my skull which collects sound from the nonhearing side and sends it through the bones and you hear both sides in one ear at the same time. Some days and places,I love it. Others not so much. It benefitted me when I was teaching. I totally understand what you are saying.

Hi Brad just in the middle of watching your video when Brett said something that Actually made My Blood Boil 😠. You were talking about the spirit box and the way it talks. Brett said it was like someone who unfortunately has a "Traciostomy" ( Definitely spelt wrong, but you'll know what I'm on about) , where a person has a Tube inserted into their windpipe to help them to breathe. It leaves an opening in their throat for Air to go in. How I Know This is because my Grandmother had to have one done Years ago, around the mid/Late 19.70s, when I was small, Otherwise she would have died then. She lived great until her death in 19.86. My mother who was her carer had to use a machine to suction the tube so the Airways could be cleared. Now , THIS is where my blood pressure went sky high: Brett said people who have those fitted Talk like that Spirit box, well, I obviously don't know who Brett knows that has one ; but Speaking from MY EXPERIENCE, besides my late grandmother, and Couple of other people, THEY Definitely DO NOT SPEAK LIKE THAT! NOR WAS IT CAUSED BY SMOKING 🚬🚬🚬. People can rant and rave about me being biased as I AM a smoker, and have NO Intentions of Ever giving them up, but What I CAN tell you is that SMOKING 🚬 WAS NOT THE CAUSE OF MY GRANDMA HAVING THE TUBE FITTED! I should have clarified a little more to what I was referring to when I said that, it was my memory jogging back to the videos I watched when I was in elementary school to scare kids and steer them away from with smoking and had them done due to having cancer. Medicine wasn't as advanced back then as it is now. So things sounded much different then. I did also mention that they can also be caused by other illnesses and accidents in which can also cause someone to have that kind of a procedure done. I am also a smoker myself. So with all that said I'm sorry I had upset you and made you feel that way.
