If you want to test hash...just cross the sea...mostly hash in France...if you want good buds easiest way is to grow your own! Cali weed is a myth here...and most of the French stoners don't know shit about real quality...they would add tobacco to top shelf flowers 🙄🤭🤮 heretics...and when you let them try your stash without tobacco they do not appreciate the taste as for them weed should taste like weed and weed taste is to them unique 🤣...commercial low shelf taste...the only thing who surprise them is that my weed is smooth not harsh so it's shitty weed as they believe the harsher it is the stronger it is! Terps, and other cannabinoids account for a lot of the different highs, and effects, therefore a strain's quality shouldn't be evaluated on the basis of THC alone. This is known as the Entourage effect, and I've gotten higher off of 18% Bud that had a myriad of cannabinoids, rather than a pack of slurricane that I had that tested in at nearly 30% which was lacking them. Not saying that THC isn't great, but don't put too much stock in THC percentage alone when evaluating the quality of your bud, trust me!
Yeah 100% my fav strain of medical I use is 19%, all the 25%+ aren't as strong/medicating. Terp profile and other compounds in the weed are more important than THC even though THC is the main effect.
Same here in Oklahoma. THC results are far less important to me than terp profiles. And honestly, the nose knows. I’m not even touching it if it doesn’t smell great.

My home grown bounces between 31-34 depending on season. Its a Sapphire OG I got about 20 years ago from HSO. I also had a Black D.O.G. that would test high 20s or low 30s but unfortunately I lost this strain.
Find 1 trustworthy friend, have him keep a copy of all your clones, and you keep one of his, if you get mites, or something along those lines then you already have a plant thats almost maturing. and youll never lose a strain, if you are careful

It would be nice but I do have a collection of about 1000 seeds for 50 or so strains that if I lose something I can replace it with something close just takes time. The Black D.O.G was the first I lost in 27 years and I have no idea why. Even after I did the autopsy I couldn't find anything wrong it just seemed like it was it's time, even though that isn't rational thinking when it comes to plants. I also tried ways to save it and nothing worked.

Every once in awhile I volunteer for a Humboldt county farm to get my fix talking shop. I live on the east coast so it isn't people I talk to a lot but knew them all for years. When I first started I went there to learn. I volunteered for knowledge, now I go every few years to catch up and help with harvest. This is where my seeds mostly come from. Easy to smuggle seeds back on a plane. Also thanks for the RIP she was a special girl like my Sapphire OG.
Cool video. I'm right in the middle of the states and am lucky enough to grow my own. When I worked for a dispensary we were getting this Ice Cream Cake that was just delicious. It would also put you to sleep if you aren't careful or have a lower tolerance. Once I heard it was getting tested in the UK I thought, "If it's a good cut of a legit Ice Cream Cake pheno, it'll be 24%". Then to see Kitchen Sink afterwards, I had to pause to comment but that's another strain that has a really nice head high, but depending on the pheno it was some many different noses. The one I was used to was a floral gassy that I wasn't too fond of, but the high was great. I'm gonna guess 21% on the Kitchen Sink. I'm sure half of those strains aren't the actual genetics but it's still cool to have the option to go get some chronic anytime, than waiting for the weed dude. Edit: Ahhh KS was 23%. I had to come here again after dude had some Trop Cookies, which is another favorite of mine. It usually test's a little lower, but 18% is solid. The pheno I had was dominant on the Tangie side and was one of my strains I often had in the rotation.

The average in 1995 was only 4%, so 10% really isn't that bad, plus you're probably less likely to get psychosis from that. Most medical marijuana dispensaries even carry less potent weed, as some people prefer it.
I grew a skunk #1 seed one time and the buds literally started dripping resins out while curing. It would stick to the inside of the jar, inside bags, stick to each other. You could stick it to the wall no prob. Just one good hit and you were done. Strongest bud I ever smoked. Still don't know why it grew so strong.
I got some weed years ago in London..im from Scotland and it was mostly hash.. you could get Lebanese gold seal red seal mirror bar pollen fluffy Moroccan pollen that was strong.. soft bendy .. then it all disappeared lives in London 4ye it was all weed.. still 130 a Oz and I got some sticky bud only a Q brought it up to Scotland.. people were getting paranoid saying they had to go home.. it was strong weed then I was just cheese .. then the hash got shit .. and Scotland only had weed mostly cheese and it wasn't great .. now it's all dawg and you can get strong good dawg .. but I miss good old school hash.. I got good pollen in Spain Marbella.. not long ago made me miss good hash fluffy hardly needed a lighter to crumble it and it got you stoned but a more body high .. not like space weed now Cali moon rocks dabs concentrated THC edibles.. there not good for a teenager smoking that to start off to strong

Is 16% low?... that 10% homegrown could have still been nice, it's not all about thc. I find terpenes play a pretty big role in the whole experience. I'd rather have some proper terpy bubblegum, diesel, sage, etc... than a big chunk of the cali strains I've tried. Some cali is really good, don't get me wrong, mojito and runtz for example have exceptional terpene profiles, gelato can be OK. But at least half of the packs I've been shown and sampled were just a bit dull, like the whole Cookies line sucked imo. It seems like 50% of Cali genetics have the same underlying terpene profile, and I'm not a fan. Some of it can be really tasty, but so can UK/EU genetics and round my parts it's still considerably more for a 3 5 of Cali. People act like because it's either Cali import or genetics that it's automatically better than anything the UK or EU produce. Well grown, dried, and cured European genetics can be awesome. You just don't see the top end quality as often. Maybe it's grown from seed so the genetics are more varied, the skilled commercial growers are growing stardawg and Cali clones and the skilled home growers aren't selling 😂
This goes to show you percentage doesn't mean anything. It's the actual terp effect. The Terps do much of the talking. The stronger, more distinguished smelling weed is how you know it's strong and will get the job done.
I would love to do this outside a dispensary. I'm working at one in canada and some of the claims are wild because of the fluctuations. We just got in a raptors runtz claiming 40% and a bunch of others 35+ total shight
Please take this device with you to Amsterdam and try some popular coffeshop's top strains, when I was there I felt as if most strains were quite weak, compared for example the hashish in my country, maybe because I built up an insane amount of tolerance, but still, would be a really really really good video for us the viewers, but I believe most strains in amsterdam goes from 18% to 25%

Ah man that's a shame I missed you coming to Glasgow Drew! Loved the video though bro. Glasgow 2nd highest so far. Nice 😎👍. About the hash: Yeah hash used to be big in Glasgow. Up until sometime early 2000s when homegrown/UK indoor grown started becoming the norm. Up until then it was gangs supplying imported hash of various qualities and low grade ganja/brick weed/Thai stick etc. The usual stuff for back then. The majority of the hash that was coming into Scotland in the 90s was something called 'soapbar' which is pretty much the lowest imaginable standard of potency in hash you could make. To make soapbar for the British market, hash is/was shipped from Morocco over to to Spain. The gangs in Spain would literally melt the hash back down again in barrels and then mix it with all the cutting agents before setting it into slate shapes again. Usually being around 5-10% hash in the end if you were lucky. Things often mixed in with soapbar: plastic, henna, rubber, plant matter, tyres etc. Pretty much whatever was laying around that could be used. It's assumed to be around 2-5% THC. It is also known as 'solid' as it is literally rock solid and you need to melt it with a flame to make it crumble in your fingers. It returns to being 'solid' again much faster than real hashes would as it's mostly plastic and stuff. You can still buy it in Glasgow if you know where to look or you accidentally get ripped off! There is a market for real hash aswell but it's nowhere near as big as the market for herb these days. I guess there's just way more money in ganja than hash in Glasgow and that has been the way for a little while now. The standards have gone up alot in the past 10 years for both ganja and hash.

Soap was everywhere in the UK back then, you couldn't get all these mad strains in fancy packs at all. Weed was pretty hard to come by. The best hash was gold seal. Most of the time the bud was just unknown homegrown and very occasionally you'd score some skunk/super skunk/silver haze/northern lights or something like that. Being a stoner was hard work back then, you'd get harrassed by police constantly. It wasn't the fancy industry it is now where kids are walking around with sweetie packs full of colourful buds. Shout out the oldschool heads who had to put up with the bullshit for decades.
Yup old vinyl records and tesco bags were thrown in the mix too bulk it out, idk what went wrong because bk in the 80s the hash was really good virtually no soapbar it was always red seal, gold seal and rocky we used to smoke in Glasgow and then the 90s hit and soap bar start appearing.
Indica will have lower THC and Sativa will have higher THC. If you like Indica bud, just know that 17% and up is GOOD! If you like Sativa's look for the buds 23% and higher for max results!
You got that backward, my g. Sativa will generally test out lower while still having strong effects. I've grown north of 10k lb in Michigan in the USA, so don't bother arguing.
Used to stay in Edinburgh they actually always had really good weed around . Apparently some was grown locally but also imported from anywhere with good shit . It was depressing as hell moving out to Australia many are still smoking 5-10% bud everywhere that's just so nasty but they don't know better. It would also put you to sleep if you aren't careful or have a lower tolerance. Once I heard it was getting tested in the UK I thought, "If it's a good cut of a legit Ice Cream Cake pheno, it'll be 24%". Then to see Kitchen Sink afterwards, I had to pause to comment but that's another strain that has a really nice head high, but depending on the pheno it was some many different noses. The one I was used to was a floral gassy that I wasn't too fond of, but the high was great. I'm gonna guess 21% on the Kitchen Sink.
I'm sure half of those strains aren't the actual genetics but it's still cool to have the option to go get some chronic anytime, than waiting for the weed dude.
Edit: Ahhh KS was 23%. I had to come here again after dude had some Trop Cookies, which is another favorite of mine. It usually test's a little lower, but 18% is solid. The pheno I had was dominant on the Tangie side and was one of my strains I often had in the rotation.

The average in 1995 was only 4%, so 10% really isn't that bad, plus you're probably less likely to get psychosis from that. Most medical marijuana dispensaries even carry less potent weed, as some people prefer it.

I grew a skunk #1 seed one time and the buds literally started dripping resins out while curing. It would stick to the inside of the jar, inside bags, stick to each other. You could stick it to the wall no prob. Just one good hit and you were done. Strongest bud I ever smoked. Still don't know why it grew so strong.

I got some weed years ago in London..im from Scotland and it was mostly hash.. you could get Lebanese gold seal red seal mirror bar pollen fluffy Moroccan pollen that was strong.. soft bendy .. then it all disappeared lives in London 4ye it was all weed.. still 130 a Oz and I got some sticky bud only a Q brought it up to Scotland.. people were getting paranoid saying they had to go home.. it was strong weed then I was just cheese .. then the hash got shit .. and Scotland only had weed mostly cheese and it wasn't great .. now it's all dawg and you can get strong good dawg .. but I miss good old school hash.. I got good pollen in Spain Marbella.. not long ago made me miss good hash fluffy hardly needed a lighter to crumble it and it got you stoned but a more body high .. not like space weed now Cali moon rocks dabs concentrated THC edibles.. there not good for a teenager smoking that to start off to strong

Is 16% low?... that 10% homegrown could have still been nice, it's not all about thc. I find terpenes play a pretty big role in the whole experience. I'd rather have some proper terpy bubblegum, diesel, sage, etc... than a big chunk of the cali strains I've tried. Some cali is really good, don't get me wrong, mojito and runtz for example have exceptional terpene profiles, gelato can be OK. But at least half of the packs I've been shown and sampled were just a bit dull, like the whole Cookies line sucked imo.
It seems like 50% of Cali genetics have the same underlying terpene profile, and I'm not a fan. Some of it can be really tasty, but so can UK/EU genetics and round my parts it's still considerably more for a 3 5 of Cali.
People act like because it's either Cali import or genetics that it's automatically better than anything the UK or EU produce.
Well grown, dried, and cured European genetics can be awesome. You just don't see the top end quality as often. Maybe it's grown from seed so the genetics are more varied, the skilled commercial growers are growing stardawg and Cali clones and the skilled home growers aren't selling 😂

This goes to show you percentage doesn't mean anything. It's the actual terp effect. The Terps do much of the talking. The stronger, more distinguished smelling weed is how you know it's strong and will get the job done.

Please take this device with you to Amsterdam and try some popular coffeshop's top strains, when I was there I felt as if most strains were quite weak, compared for example the hashish in my country, maybe because I built up an insane amount of tolerance, but still, would be a really really really good video for us the viewers, but I believe most strains in amsterdam goes from 18% to 25%

About the hash: Yeah hash used to be big in Glasgow. Up until sometime early 2000s when homegrown/UK indoor grown started becoming the norm. Up until then it was gangs supplying imported hash of various qualities and low grade ganja/brick weed/Thai stick etc. The usual stuff for back then. The majority of the hash that was coming into Scotland in the 90s was something called 'soapbar' which is pretty much the lowest imaginable standard of potency in hash you could make.
To make soapbar for the British market, hash is/was shipped from Morocco over to to Spain. The gangs in Spain would literally melt the hash back down again in barrels and then mix it with all the cutting agents before setting it into slate shapes again. Usually being around 5-10% hash in the end if you were lucky. Things often mixed in with soapbar: plastic, henna, rubber, plant matter, tyres etc. Pretty much whatever was laying around that could be used. It's assumed to be around 2-5% THC. It is also known as 'solid' as it is literally rock solid and you need to melt it with a flame to make it crumble in your fingers. It returns to being 'solid' again much faster than real hashes would as it's mostly plastic and stuff. You can still buy it in Glasgow if you know where to look or you accidentally get ripped off! There is a market for real hash aswell but it's nowhere near as big as the market for herb these days. I guess there's just way more money in ganja than hash in Glasgow and that has been the way for a little while now. The standards have gone up alot in the past 10 years for both ganja and hash.
Shut up man you've been watching too much documentarys hash/polen was massive up until 2016 2017 and then it dropped of the face of the earth some the polen you got in glagow like the camel polen and blonde hash was the best about and was more potent than some your homegrown weed get your facts straight your talking from watching a documentary im talking from experience
Soap was everywhere in the UK back then, you couldn't get all these mad strains in fancy packs at all. Weed was pretty hard to come by. The best hash was gold seal. Most of the time the bud was just unknown homegrown and very occasionally you'd score some skunk/super skunk/silver haze/northern lights or something like that. Being a stoner was hard work back then, you'd get harrassed by police constantly. It wasn't the fancy industry it is now where kids are walking around with sweetie packs full of colourful buds. Shout out the oldschool heads who had to put up with the bullshit for decades.
Yup old vinyl records and tesco bags were thrown in the mix too bulk it out, idk what went wrong because bk in the 80s the hash was really good virtually no soapbar it was always red seal, gold seal and rocky we used to smoke in Glasgow and then the 90s hit and soap bar start appearing.
Very, very little hash in Glasgow nowadays.

Indica will have lower THC and Sativa will have higher THC. If you like Indica bud, just know that 17% and up is GOOD! If you like Sativa's look for the buds 23% and higher for max results!
You got that backward, my g. Sativa will generally test out lower while still having strong effects. I've grown north of 10k lb in Michigan in the USA, so don't bother arguing.
