I bought a Nokia 635 lumina for an employee who was from another country from AT&T. I found out after 4 months that I could not get an unlock code until I've had service for 6 months. The student went back to his country and was not able to use the phone until I watched this video. I went to BBB and the unlocking company has as A rating, so I proceeded to purchase the code. I received it within 1 day and it worked! I'm so glad this phone didn't go to waste because it is a very decent phone. Thanks for posting this video and for the information. :)

I've got this phone and am using it on an MVNO. Its still locked. I want to unlock it so I can use the Hot Spot feature that my MVNO offers. Your process doesn't address my situation. How do I get into the unlock mode considering my phone is active on AT&T through my MVNO?

What do you do to startup the Nokia Lumia 635 phone when it is not asking for an unlock code, and the local sim is not connecting....

I have that same problem now with that phone, and someone told me that you need the proper sim card for whomever you plan on going with to get the UNLOCK keyboard to pop-up...not sure about that but it sounds right.
