My absolute favourite episode from the series, specifically because of the beautiful rendering of Sandra Robinson as Anita Baker. I cried when she sang, and it still brings tears to my eyes.

Joanne Ravenscroft used to perform to backing tracks ( Radio Ga Ga, Dead Ringer For Love) in pubs in and around Stoke in the mid 90s, calling herself Leighanne, and wearing 👀 😲 outfits!

Interesting that Matt Ford has gone on to have an excellent singing career. One of if not the, top male big band singers in the UK. Just shows that winning a talent contest isn't everything!
The third act looks like Neil from the inbetweeners
Matt Ford is now a well-known big band singer. He sings much better as himself, rather than a tribute act!

Ravenscroft I found very attractive, until she stepped out as Sheryl crow, that look didn't suit her, and definitely not a good Sheryl crow singer, sorry.
