That friction test alone finally solves the heel/toe debate. Well done. Love the concise videos.

      Respectfully I don’t think it was a debate. 😂

Off topic but I just rewatched your round at PDF down here in NOLA. Really puts into perspective how good y’all pros are. You walked out of hole 4 with par after 2 bad shots. It’s a miracle if I walk out of 4 with a par from any of the tee pads lol

It can definitely add some perspective to be able to play the same course or even watch in person! I miss that course, tons of fun!

I have always noticed the heel rotation on Pro Disc golfers but I haven't been able to do it. I need to practice it as I know it will help. Thanks for taking the time to point this out out.

It is a must assuming conditions on the ground are favorable lol! Thanks for watching and I’m glad it was helpful!

Thanks so much for the video and the consistent content. I’d love to learn more about where your torso is when the disc is released. Watching slow mo videos pros seem turned toward the target a bit when the disc releases but in conversational coaching they seem more perpendicular to the target. Curious to hear your thoughts in a future video!

This is a great tip Connor. I definitely don’t consistently get too my heel.

I have played many sports my whole life and am used to being on my toes and the balls of my feet for stability and balance. Any tips on hiw to get used to the bakance on the heel instead? I have tried to rotate on my heel but i get no power in my throws. I am stil working on bracing properly but so far the only way i have found to get off my toes is to put my foot farther ahead (more stagger) so i cant be on my toes. I dont usually have good balance and loose power though.

    Funny looking ankle monitor!

The big problem for me is I plant perpendicular, but then I just can't figure out the timing for opening the front foot up. I usually open it too soon and get a later release.. So much timing to just get right...
Also what shoes do you use for disc golf?

I've been trying to do this due to right knee pain. Problem is, I'm totally messing up my timing and weight transfer. Do you have any drills to master this technique?

I have never heard of the reasoning behind why you should rotate the foot, although I have searched for info. I've played casually for years and always done it with no rotation whatsoever (foot stays perpendicular to the throw line). But then I do not throw very far (about 300 ft). Do you rotate to save the knee, or does it provide more distance?

@ConnorOReillyDG haha snow in Texas just doesn't sound right. Yeah I'm in Dallas and we got some already. I will definitely not be discing today.
