Some viewers have found the jpg file type does not work. Documentation agrees that only gif, png and bmp are allowed extensions. If you are having trouble then change the file type to bmp.

I have had a similar comment from another viewer who found the documentation states screen shots are saved as gif, bmp or png and changing the file type helped them. On testing jpg works on my system so the difference may be due to other installed software but I suggest changing the file type. I have already updated git to use bmp. You can set the text to anything, you just have to decide the information and how to format it.

You can't easily. The WebRequest function does not operate in indicators. It's clumsy but you could try saving the image and text to files from the indicator and have an external app like python scan for new files and send to Telegram. Or maybe add an expert that does the publishing and from the indicator set a signal like a global variable to tell the expert to publish.

You don't need code for this. Open positions are usually shown on the chart by default but if not from the menu select tools, charts tab, Show Trade Levels.

This code sends to telegram. If you have code that reads from telegram and you can interpret the telegram messages then yes you can read and trade on telegram signals. There is commercial software available to do just that.

@@nganbao1280 I'm not saying the photo doesn't exist, just that it isn't being sent. Could be a wrong name passed to the send function, using sentphoto without setting up the post data, many things. You will have to step through the code and make sure each step works and the picture is included as a char array in the post data.

You can copy the custom functions here completely into your ea, then just add the line to call the functions at whatever is the right point in your ea.

I don't know how to say this any differently. The text sent to Telegram is just the text you pass into the function. Change the example text to anything you want.

One of the contributors on our discord channel suggested using %250a instead of . You could also try removing text from the url and adding text to the post data. Same as for sending an image but still use sendmessage in the url, and replace caption with text.

This example code is a script, not an expert. If you want to make this part of an expert just write the expert and copy in the functions. I used a script because it is easy to demonstrate.

Those files are just documentation. Put experts files in the experts folder, include files in the include folder, and so on.

You can copy the custom functions here completely into your ea, then just add the line to call the functions at whatever is the right point in your ea.

You set the message, don't just copy the example code. Try saving the image as png instead of jpg

I don't know how to say this any differently. The text sent to Telegram is just the text you pass into the function. Change the example text to anything you want.

You could also try removing text from the url and adding text to the post data. Same as for sending an image but still use sendmessage in the url, and replace caption with text.

Sounds like you did not attach the binary data of the image when you tried to send the image. Maybe specified the wrong file name
