This is what happened with Iqbal Salih in 1995. A Pakistani national who took a stand against rug and carpet factories who exploited children who later get punished for not meeting their quota. Once the world know about the Rug cartels, the young kid was welcomed into the arms of foreign governments exposing these illegal activities. Iqbal suffered the worst beatings from the other children. Once he told his story, governments pushed the Pakistani government to halt this crisis. Governments and the UN gave multiple grants and scholarships where he can later use that to become a lawyer. But sadly, he never got a chance. That poor boy was shot to death in a drive-by for standing up against the rug manufacturers. Several nations honored this young man. Never to be forgotten. It is a risk that we take. But silence is death no matter what.
Excellent! Great information. Thank you!
