I have this printer, on the check pattern the black was slightly smudged with colour all ok. Ran the clean to sort out the black and now it doesn't print in magenta or cyan. Loads of ink in the tanks. Garbage. Guess I will order the bits to try manually cleaning. What size tube did you use?

The epson et printers are the worst printer they constantly clog its a never ending nightmare. I regret this purchase. I have only printed 227 pages and at least 100 of these pages were nozzle checks and test prints. I have done nozzle checks head cleanings everything possible to get magenta back working and nothing. Its a $300 nightmare customer service is no help either. Save yourself the frustration and read the reviews on any printer you are thinking of buying and take the negative ones seriously even if only a few. I wish i had done so. I also wish i still had my original box this sucker would have been gone a long time ago. Another lesson keep your box the store will not return without it. So in a world where loosing $300 and still needing a printer this situation is not ideal. Happy holidays

After months of utoob crap videos and talking to epson, my recommendation is to NOT ever buy an Epson, and 2) take your existing crapson and toss it in the trash, and go buy an HP. Lightnig strike was the only problem I ever had with my HP printer. This one has never printed color. I fooled around thinking it was something I was doing wrong, until now it's out of warranty. I refuse to spend a dime or any more physical effort to try and make this thing work, when it should have worked out of the box. Epson is BS.

I'm with you @born2early. We thought we'd "invest" in a better, more expensive printer and it'd been garbage the entire time we've had it. Mine currently won't print yellow. I've The only thing I can think is the head is super clogged so I might have to go this route and see if it helps.
An Ecotank printer was recommended by Computeractive magazine here in the UK and so despite some reservations I bought an ET-2750. What a mistake. My ET-2750 has printed 256 pages IN TOTAL and now it won't print yellow at all. I can't rely on it to print any sort of extended print run without failing in some way; last time it was the black that stopped working properly. It's utter, utter sh*te and I will never, ever buy another Epson printer.
