In vanilla Rebirth, unlocking the Lost is a tedious process. Basically, you have to die in a specific order, as specific characters to specific things or enemies. In Afterbirth and above, all you need to do is unlock the Missing Poster, and then die in a Sacrifice Room while holding it.

I got this combination once back in ab+. Later in that run I also got Death's Touch and rubber cement. Gotta be my luckiest run so far

some items, like tarot cloth, had little work put into them before repentance, and that's what broke the game in ab+ :p
