I had never heard this song until about 5 months ago. WOW! I could sing this in church every week, and since I'm the music director, I guess we could. Praise the Lord for this kind of worshipful music!
Drove home from Florida last year, 23 hours straight through; not smart i know. Prayed before I left. This song came on when I got off the parkway for my last mile. Thank you Jesus!
I haven't been to church for more than ten years now. I always used to love this song so very very much. I still can remember the first time hearing it on a big worship meeting when i was a teenager. Even today after, so long, it still makes my heart beat faster...

There is always hope on Jesus. Thank You for strength Oh Lord. I will always praise only You my God in the name of JESUS I love You Lord and I thank YOU Oh Lord. AMEN.
For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book: And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book. He which testifieth these things saith, Surely I come quickly. Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen.
I will not allow the enemy to steal my joy.my Erica is saved because I her mother plead the blood of JESUS over her life. I declare in the name of JESUS that Eric IS defeated. The word of Almighty GOD says that weeping may endure for a night but joy cometh in the morning. My God is not a GOD that He should lie and I declare to you Eric that every drop of tear that I cry for my daughters ,God counts them.l plead the blood of JESUS upon you also and that the scales be removed from over your eye
Related In your own words, how does Daniel 7 illustrate the main theme (in spite of present circumstances, God is in control and will have the final victory)? There's verses in both Daniel and Ezekiel asserting the fact Father God, who is Sovereign, is always in total control. Even though horrendous prophecies must be fulfilled, as they are also accompanied by exhilarating promises for faithful believers. Daniel 7:25-27 He (the Antichrist Czar/Ruler) will speak against the Most High and oppress his holy people and try to change the set times and laws (of Sabbath and religious practices or rituals). The holy people will be delivered into his hands for a time, times, and half a time (3.5 of the 7-year Tribulation period). But the court will sit, and his power will be taken away and completely destroyed forever. Then the sovereignty, power, and greatness of all kingdoms under heaven will be handed over to the holy people of the Most High. His kingdom will be an everlasting kingdom, and all rulers will worship and obey him./ Notice the line “the holy people will be delivered into his (the Antichrist) hands for a time.” That's passive voice of course but who's the subject understood or accepted to be? God the Father, who's always in control. He ‘allows' the evil ruler to take the reins for a specified period of time. This reminds me of the story of Job. See the connection? God permitted Satan, the Deceiver, to essentially ruin Job's existence and happiness/contentment. For a time. Here, in Daniel 8:23-25, powers or authorities are mentioned. Verse 24 states that the Antichrist will not be given power through his own strength/will but by an external power. Then end of verse 25 shares that the evil ruler will not be defeated by human power. So who gives power or authority in astounding ways, even miraclous? Two different ones while the one evil one remains sentenced to earth (our physical realm as we know it). The God of the heavens, the Most High of course, but the bible introduces the reader to the god of the world. God can restrain him through His will, power of prayer, and Michael's armies, but God can also…loosen the reins giving Satan more slack. Now notice what God tells us through the prophetic writings of Ezekiel in chapter 38:1-16: in verse 4 God states clearly that he will control the Gog/Czar/ruler of the Land of Magog (Russian territories) like a proverbial puppet. Verse 10 then states that ‘thoughts will come into the evil ruler's mind so as to devise an evil scheme.’ Finally, verse 16: “In days to come, Gog/Czar, I will bring you against my land, so that the nations may know me when I am proved holy through you before their eyes.” So, indeed, who's truly in charge? Who's handling the reins? Another example? Consider Nebuchadnezzar King of Babylon as written in Jeremiah 27:4-7/ In verse 6 God refers to Nebuchadnezzar as His servant? A bit of sarcasm for his own people the Israelites perhaps? “Now I will give all your countries into the hands of my servant Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon; I will make even the wild animals subject to him.” So we therefore have assurance that God will fulfill his prophetic promises concerning end time events, of those written in Daniel chapters 9-11, Joel chapters 2-3 (concerning the Day of the Lord), Ezekiel chapters 38-39, Matthew 24, Luke 21, and Revelation chapters 6-20. Revelation chapters 20-22 show us a vision of the victorious and joyous times before us. We must keep the faith, hold onto hope, and never lose sight of our Blessed Hope Christ Jesus. Jesus spoke over all of us in Revelation 3:10-11/ “Since you have kept my command to endure patiently, I will also keep you from the hour of trial that is going to come on the whole world to test the inhabitants of the earth. I am coming soon. Hold on to what you have, so that no one will take your crown.” Keep your faith, never lose hope, your eyes on the finish line. He stands at the door for He is the Door, into our eternity. God Bless Daniel.
Related In Christian theology, what are the attributes of The Willful King of Daniel 11? INTRODUCTION Up till verse 35, Daniel 11 had been historically perfect. Detail after detail had been predicted with breath-taking accuracy, but from verse 36, strange things begin to happen. As chapter 11 continues from v36, it appears to be describing Antiochus Epiphanes, and yet it says things that cannot be applied to him at all. From verse 36 there is no apparent change of subject? When we get to the beginning of chapter 12, which is a continuation of the same vision, we find that it is the end of the world that is being spoken about!?! It is as if the prophet in seeing Antiochus Epiphanes, looks through him and sees him as a ‘type’ or ‘pre-figurement’ of somebody else like him who is to come in the future. In one way, we shouldn’t really be too surprised about this because back in chapter 7 Daniel saw a “little horn” and that “little horn” was an evil figure who is going to come at the end of the world, and who will cause the people of God to suffer. In chapter 8 Antiochus Epiphanes is also described as a “little horn”. So you get two distinct individuals given the same description in two consecutive chapters in the same book. One was a person who has now lived and died, the other is yet to come. Yet both are given the same description because, in a sense, they are in fact the same. As I understand it, the final Anti-Christ will be preceded by many previous anti-Christs. History is full of prominent individuals who have set themselves up and have tried to put the people of God down - and in that way, qualify as forerunners of the final Anti-Christ. When one of them comes onto the scene, it is all but impossible to know whether he is just one more anti-Christ, or whether he is THE final Anti-Christ. So, as the prophet looks into the future, he may well be seeing two distinct individuals as one. Many of the prophets not only did this with future personalities, but also with future events. Subsequent history displayed that the two sets of events were distinct, but in predicting them, while giving hints about their distinction, the prophet spoke about them as one. I believe it is exactly this feature of prophecy that we witness in Daniel chapter 11. The Lord causes Daniel to look through Antiochus Epiphanes to the person of whom he is a ‘pre-figurement’ - the man of sin. To summarise: From verse 36 Daniel is still, in a way, talking about Antiochus ; but he is most certainly talking most about the Anti-Christ. Things are being said which cannot in anyway apply to Antiochus. THE MAN OF SIN I do not expect all who read this answer to be in total agreement with the generally accepted evangelical interpretation I now give - from verse 36. One thing I do know. There is a personal Anti-Christ who will come at the end of the world, and I believe we get a prophetic description of him from v36. Verse 36, tells us of a king who will do exactly as he wants. The picture is of a man coming to power, prospering, increasing in power, and speaking against the God of gods, but never against all religion. The only fulfillment of this verse must be in him who “will oppose and exalt himself over everything that is called God, or is worshiped…” (2 Thessalonians 2:4). One couldn’t apply verse 37 to Antiochus, because the person of this verse has no regard for any god whatsoever, which was absolutely not true of him! The picture in v37, is of a man trampling on what his fathers valued, a person without human love and piety of any sort. The only god whom this person worships is ‘force’ (v38-39). To this he devotes everything, and with its help, he will proceed against his enemies Oh Dear Sarah Rayner JA it's JASX
