Great video, 4 axle dump trucks filled on one pass. That bucket with the extensions just wow, be great to see operator standing beside or inside it to get real idea of scale.
So I've seen a couple videos like this one and I am no expert, but is there a reason why the trucks don't come from the right of the Loader -> get loaded -> and then leave towards the left of the loader? This way they don't need to do the backward movement.
Would the loader turn additional 90 Degrees the trucks don't have to reverse. Reversing every truck takes some time, instead they could be loaded in row in the direction from the street?
Yeah, I wondered that too. But I “think” it is cheaper/faster for the loader to move as little as possible, and the trucks are cheaper and faster to move into place by reversing. Either way, that is one, BIG bucket, isn’t it.
He is not just loading but also keeps the area clean and flat on the return pass. If he makes a bigger angle the area will no longer be clean, and becomes difficult to drive for truck and loader.
