    Something tells me Fake Mace has a history of killing, because not even the world's most sadistic killer smiles more than Fake Mace "teaching" how to do a "deadly" technique.

    Bruce Lee understood the balance between emotional control and physical action in our modern world to a very high degree - that's why he'll always be the best. He never considered himself a superstar. He died too young.

    Bruce Lee was simple, direct and non classical in his rhythm. There is nothing here resembling anything that looks like Bruce let alone Wing Chun.

    • @neaituppi7306

      It also has nothing to do with Capoeira. .Or Joan of Arc either.
      But there is no reference to Bruce Lee or wing chun in this.
      Bruce Lee is about 60% hype.
      But only when you actually start learning about Shaolin Kung Fu will that be easier to see.
      40% of the hype came from Linda Lee cadwell after his death.

    • @bpd115

      He changed the title of the video. In the original title he questioned if he was the next Bruce Lee. Let Jacob Rydberg start learning real kung fu before he tries to teach it. He studied Shaolin Do from a con artist who admitted in a lawsuit against Jake that he made up a majority of it.
      The guy has passion but he's no better than his scam artist instructor if he continues to try and push this stuff off as real kung fu. His videos on the wooden dummy are an insult to Wing Chun. His performance of Sil Lim Tao shows he clearly learned it from TH-cam. Other REAL Kung Fu practitioners are pissed at this guy because he's an insult to what they've dedicated their life to and his videos and performances have been debunked by plenty of people out there who actually know how to do what Jake claims he's passing off as Kung Fu.
      Sure he's athletic and I'd love to have the guys flexibility but if you think what he is doing is correct in its form and function, maybe you're another Shaolin Do wanna be.
      As far as Bruce, I've trained with his first generation and second generation students. Bruce's 40% non hype (and I'm talking about JFJKD, not his movie choreography) is magnitudes better than Jake's 100% bullshit he shows on TH-cam.

      He changed the title of the video. In the original title he questioned if he was the next Bruce Lee. Let Jacob Rydberg start learning real kung fu before he tries to teach it. He studied Shaolin Do from a con artist who admitted in a lawsuit against Jake that he made up a majority of it.
      {People keep mentioning Jacob Rydberg like they are exposing him using a fake name.
      The name Mace comes from his grandparents. He chose to change it to that to honor them, and he liked the name. That is it. get educated. He studied for years, since he was a kid from various places. I do not believe he actually learned directly from Sin Kwang the. It would be odd that a Teacher would sue his own student for teaching what he taught him. There are schools all around the country that teach the forms Sin kwang the created. Since Jake learned from several teachers. Sin Kwang the probably felt Jake wasn't one of his official students, so went after him and another guy.}
      { I think if you actually knew and had studied what "real kung fu" is, you could not deny that every form Sin kwang the created has applications taken from traditional Kung Fu. The guy lied about the history of the forms he made, but he is an enclypedia of Kung Fu.
      What Jake does only 20% of the forms is the ones Sin Kwang the made up.
      The rest comes from "real kung fu" regardless of what you want to think.
      But all Shaolin Kung Fu, like every other martial art, at some point someone made it up.
      And even some of the traditional stories, like Boddhidharma bringing Kung Fu to the Monks, has been questioned as to the validity of the story.
      There are many versions of how a martial art was created, and many versions of the style.
      As far as this version isn't valid because it won't really work in a real fight. I have only seen people talk about it. Which is not the same as actually knowing.
      If it wasn't a specific person to focus on, then a lot of you would be saying Shaolin Kung Fu "real kung fu" doesn't work in a real fight. Actually I think I already read you saying it.}
      Sure he's athletic and I'd love to have the guys flexibility but if you think what he is doing is correct in its form and function, maybe you're another Shaolin Do wanna be.
      {I think you do not understand what Shaolin Kung Fu is about to know that. And you lack a basic aspect of the Buddhist awareness in it. Respect for all life. You are talking to me like a mean spirited little kid.}
      As far as Bruce, I've trained with his first generation and second generation students. Bruce's 40% non hype (and I'm talking about JFJKD, not his movie choreography) is magnitudes better than Jake's 100% bullshit he shows on TH-cam.
      {That is just a childish remark. What his students did, with more dedication with the concepts of JKD, which itself is not a martial art, but a system to apply to MMA. That is not about the 40% hype.
      Bruce Lee was very fast, naturally. He only got through about two thirds of the wing chun sets. If you want to talk about people that really know wing chun evaluating Jake's Sil Lim Tao.
      They have also been evaluating Bruce's proficiency in wing chun over the years.
      And a lot of wing chun, dedicated practitioners, don't respect Bruce Lee as a wing chun stylist.
      A lot of the hype comes from Linda. Bruce only once mentioned the fight with wong jack man, when he was alive, and it wasn't what Linda said. But wong heard it and gave his side and challenged Bruce to a rematch, which Bruce never responded to.
      Other witnesses to the fight said it was a draw that went on for 25 minutes, and wong was not hurt at all, except for a scratch under his eye.
      But people don't give up a martial art for winning a fight in 2 minutes. They give it up, because, either they were not that good at it, or they blame the martial art for it not working.
      I have talked to several of the people that have commented on Jake's Sil Lim Tao video and wooden dummy videos.
      A lot of them don't practice wing chun anymore, but have decided to be negative proctors on it.
      Some other ones; like buffalo wing chun clan, are bullies. They provoke and insult people until they agree to fight them.
      Buffalo wing chun clan, he has a few videos on his channel, he does a sil lim tao that isn't very good.
      The general way you describe it, makes it sound like they are all sound, respected, established wing chun experts.
      But they are just people like your self that are so convinced they are right and want to impose that on others. And you can only do it in a negative, disrespectful way.
      You don't know anything more about them, than me.
      The whole thing of; "That is not wing chun, that is not "real kung fu" Is just an awareness of intolerance and control issues in society. It started hundreds of years ago, and continues today. And the statements of the real stuff has been tested and retested to assure that it is effective in combat, you don't know, anymore than the tests to conclude the big bang theory.
      The reality of the video, is Jake is fast in it.
      A lot of the demonstrations Bruce did back in the day, were not real fights, but demonstrations like this. And he was fast.
      Bruce was an entirely different person than Jake. Bruce was much less respectful of people, if he thought he could beat them and their martial art.
      One of his first generation students, James Demille said he got into a big disagreement with Bruce on that, that caused them to not be friends. They nearly got into a fight.
      I would rather hang out with someone like Jake.

    • @bpd115
      @bpd115 7 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Heki Kahni Shaolin Kung Fu is awesome when someone who knows what he or she is doing is demonstrating it.
      Jake doesn't.
      You're saying some wing chun people say Bruce Lee's wing chun wasn't good. I don't know what that has to do with Jake Mace here. I do know Wong Shun Leung had a very different opinion of Bruce's skill. I know everyone who met and trained with the man knew his first movement was untouchable. Parker, LaBell, Norris, Lewis, all respected his ability.
      You want to bring up the Wong Jack Man fight? No one knows what happened there, so I'm not going there. All I will say is it doesn't mean you lost the fight to see you need to make things more efficient, realistic and practical.
      What we are talking about is Jake's skill...and I've never have heard or read one respected Wing Chun sifu look at his demonstration of Wing Chun and say anything good about it.
      Ditto for any other practitioner of the martial arts he passes off as knowing.
      Listen, if you want to go on believing Jake is showing amazing skill and has the knowledge and proficiency of what he is showing, be my guest.
      Anyone who has trained in martial arts for a while can see he's nothing more than a snake oil salesman. I wanted to call him the McDonald's of Kung Fu, but that's an insult to McDonald's.
      And Sin Kwang The is a liar and I have no respect for anyone who feels the need to con people out of their money. Fabricating stories about surviving being stabbed by a poison blade like he's some type of god so he can sucker people like yourself out of money.
      Should have just named his art Kentucky Do.

    Hehe Bruce Lee was much faster, you are maybe Slow Lee sorry bro, but i am also a martial arts guy, and i don`t understand, why a selfcalled master show his skill and very dangerous moves on TH-cam, here are not only good people and you give these bad people a chance too harm other people, if you would be a so called master, than you would not show these dangerous stuff too everyone, my rule are i have too knew these guy i am train, only my oppinion and also plz. don`t show that it is easy too defend a knife, a real fighter knew`s that he have too run and if he had too fight a knife couse he or she can`t leave the situation, than a real fighter knew he or she will maybe win but not without getting a stich or bad injury, so plz. tell the people that it`s dangerous too fight a knife or other weapon, imagine how much people get hurt couse you show these styles here and they thing, they get a chance against a knife couse you tell this stuff, i thing your master would be shamed if he saw what you doing here, or he/she is no master in my eyes, also a master doesn`t exist in my eyes, we are all students and can learn from each other, a real master will never call himself a master. I have nothing against you as a human brother and i also love martial arts, i am now 34 and i startet my training when i was 2 years old, and i knew you could not defend yourself when i got a knife, but i am not allowed too fight you, my rulez and honour doesn`t allow me too fight or show my technics too everyone, but if you want we can train together, the only problem is, i am from Germany, so if you are in Berlin, i will be your training partner if you want too, i wish you a great day and i thing you are a good one but on the wrong way, de dem :)

      Basti Wolf Jake said in one video with knife defend that is small chance you will win without knife. In many cities kung fu training isn't avalable but Jake have the best videos and online school on internet. I think that's the best way to training martial arts on internet.

      Yeah bro you are right but, also the bad guys will see this and so i am
      sure that some bad guys had and will use these video`s too harm others and when you show these technics here on TH-cam too earn money, that is for me the wrong way, follow the money or follow the truth and honour,
      that is the reaoson why i don`t show stuff like this on TH-cam, i can`t
      controll who will watch it :).
      Ok he tell this stuff about defence against knife in one Video, i didn`t saw this one, but i saw a lot of his video`s and in all video`s i knew from him, he never tell me that a knife defence is nearly impossible, also for a trained guy, so this is the problem for me and not only with him, here on TH-cam are soo much people who show knife defences that have nothing too do with reallity, but he is one of the good guys here on TH-cam for me, also his way of life, I like it and i guess he had a brave heart but in my oppinion as i said, TH-cam is not the right way :)

      Basti Wolf I think evryting you said is true but Jake show us his Life style and he teach us how to use martial arts in correct way. If someone wont to learn kung fu to hurt someone he will found tutorial on internet or youtube... Jake have online school that cost real money. I don't think that "bad guys" will pay to hurt someone. On youtube you can learn many begginer stuff but If you want to train advance and real dangerous kung fu moves you need to train hard and join in Jake Mace online school. If you want to train on internet.

    Many States is the us legalized it, here in Germany it's not legalized but it has a part in society especially under young people. To be honest i smoke it myself since i am 16 yrs, now I am 24.
    A video about it would be really an awesome thing and i would kindly ask you whether you would do it for us ?
    Thanks for teaching us this awesome martial arts :)
    and i gotta let you know always lifted my butt up when you said it :D

    Been reading a lot about Jake Mace's system, style, call it what you will, and how people say he's a fake, he's this/that, and so on. Honestly, does it really matter? I agree that if he has been 'less than honest' people may get angry, I feel the same way. But, it's like the age-old 'my style is better than yours', NO IT ISN'T! It's how the practitioner USES/ADAPTS what he has been taught/what he created, whether he can make it WORK when it matters. You learn dojo-based Shotokan, which is basically sport karate (Karate was originally developed as a 'complete' civilian defence system, with throws, elbows, grappling, ground-fighting, locks, gouges etc. ) thinking you're learning to defend yourself, you're not, you're getting a foundation which you must adapt to yourself, make more practical etc. If Jake Mace, who I don't know, I have no idea about his training history, the heritage of his 'style/system', can make it 'work', then he should be assessed on that, and that's all. It doesn't matter if his system is 500 years old, or 10 years old, does it work, can it work, has it worked? I have 29 years of training, my current , personal 'hybrid' includes bases from the Shotokan I started in, the Shito-Ryu I currently study, the Ju-Jitsu I studied, handwork from boxing, kicks/elbows/knees from Thai Boxing, elements I've pulled from Krav Maga & KFM, Bo training I've done, all of which translates into daily training sessions with repetition, repetition, repetition and more repetition to the point that I 'own' the techniques. If Jake Mace has done that, and can make it work, then he is a Martial Artist, a fighter. THAT is the judge, people, nothing else. However, maybe the title of the video is somewhat pretentious. Humility is a good thing.....

    • @bpd115
      @bpd115 7 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Humility is what he doesn't have. He studied under a scam artist in the art of Shaolin Do. He was sued by his 'master' who was claiming copyright to his system. Only problem his master ran into is that in order to copyright the system, he had to admit he made the majority of it up. It doesn't date back to the Shaolin temple.
      I agree with most of what you're saying and it seems like you studied actual styles and made things your own. That's great.
      What Jake is doing is watching things on TH-cam, filming himself doing them half assed and wrong and then selling his DVDs and Online training, etc.

      Happy ClamGuy He definitely has a degree of skill and knowledge but I've done some googling on Jake Mace, (not his real name btw), and his background and who he studied under is very questionable. His teacher is not highly regarded as teaching traditional Kung Fu. Anytime someone is using click bait to advertise themselves as the next Bruce Lee you have to question that person's values.
