These 14 videos are great and clear so many queries without even Asking. Its not just a crash course its an in depth guide and great quick start. Thankyou for posting such good content. Yet I think there can be more video on Sync rules configuration and Also I have a query that you have done all the configuration of O365, will it work same for Azure AD including soft match and hard match other subtle features of AAD Connect. One more query that can PHS and PTA can be used together ? I am liking and commenting all 14 videos that have added so much value to me. Thanks once again.
Hi Harsh, Thank you for these lovely comments. Coming to your queries, PHS and PTA can't be used together. And when you implement AAD Connect with M365, at the backend it is implemented in Azure AD. You can verify this by going to Microsoft Entra ID > Entra Connect.
Thanks for a great session. Question: Why didn't you provide Azure AD domain information during this installation while you provided on premise AD UPN suffix information? Also if we need to provide on premise active directory domain name ( in this example *.local) then why installation process does not require us to provide Azure Tenant name at destination side? Just based on global admin credentials installation process will identify tenant automatically?
Thank u for these amazing tutorial. I follow a custom installation process and i am getting the error Unable to create the synchronization service account for Azure Active Directory. I search online and it is suggested to move the Azure Global Administrator from MFA what i did, but the error persists.
Hi, go to sign in logs in azure ad and look for service account. Open that log and check which CA policy is triggered on sign-in. Exclude service account from that CA policy.
Great video, thanks for sharing. To confirm if we sync a single OU as part of Domain/OU filtering (e.g ABC OU) and then deploy Group based filtering for a selection of the users in the OU, this will sync just the members of the Group and not the entire OU?
Thank you for an excellent video. If all Exchange mailboxes have been migrated to Exchange online, but Microsoft still requires one on premise Exchange server to be setup, should the "Exchange Hybrid" option be used as one of the custom options?
Choosing sign-in methods in Azure AD Connect depends on your organization requirement. In PHS, passwords are synced to Azure AD over secure channel and authentication is done in Azure AD. In PTA, authentication is performed by on-premise AD, because passwords stay in on-premise. Azure AD Connect Federation allows users to be redirected to their on-premise environment for authentication. So depending on your requirement and environment, you can choose one of these sign in methods.
Share the details of service account if we are creating the same before the ad connect installation. How this can be created and what kind of permission is required
Hi, Thanks for all the videos. Much appreciated. But there is still one thing I don't understand. Maybe I have over looked, I don't know. If you go back into AD Connect and look in the Synchronization Settings there is written "SYNC CRITERIA" AlwaysProvision. What does this mean and what does it do? Thanks in advance
I have a companie with 50 users using office 365, but that companie doesn't have a AD, whis is the best practice in this case? install a server on premi or use P1?, thanks in advance.
Thank you for doing the needful.

Which Sign on method is recommended by Microsoft while configuring Azure AD connect tool?

Hi bro...can i get tutor how to release sync AD to 365?
You mean how to disconnect Azure AD Connect from M365 connect?
2012r2 are no longer supported for AAD connect

Are those users using only Office 365 services? Then choose O365 business plans.
