As a beginning deadlock player, I see shiv as a character just for me. I prefer slowly wither my enemies down before finishing them off. In my opinion, in laning phase shiv should constantly use his knifes on enemy hero. Shiv's knives have no damage fall off, yet have no limited range. So, you can effectively throw knives across the map to continuously deal pressure, and maybe even finishing enemy heroes off when they are low and trying to escape. And with very huge hitboxes hitting knives is very easy, maybe it's just muscle memory from OW2's Junkerqueen, I don't know. Slice and dice is good for both farming creeps, neutrals, for mobility, and to delivering additional damage to enemy heroes. Especially in teamfights, because of reduced cooldown. Third skill is somewhat OP. in rage, you get only 55% of all damage (without any gear even), and the only downside is that you just have regeneration turned off? (I mean, this delayed damage gets healed by regeneration) that's crazy, shiv is as tanky as Abrams sometimes. And his ult is, well, strong. Mobility, damage, and guaranteed kill when enemy is low, its quite powerful. Its not great on its own, but you can initiate battles with it, win battles with it (200 damage its quite a bit), guaranteed win the chase, and in teamfights, you can make a huge killing spree with this one. I like this hero.
Those weren’t combos… If you’re going for mythic burst/improved burst you need to talk about taking Surge of Power on 1, at max rank it allows his dagger initial hit to proc improved burst and if you stack a few daggers, the bleed can proc it too. Also no talk about Healbane, its heal on kill really goes well with bloodletting.
@@supawithdacream5626 unfortunately, you're winning despite imbuing it on 1, not because of it. It's simply how the scalings in this game work. If you want to be optimal, you inbue it on skills that scale well.

Begging you man, chill just a little with the audio cuts, having to go back over and over again to process what you are saying gets jarring quick
I’ll keep that in mind for the future. Like I said I’m not the best at editing so a lot of things go wrong but I try my best for you all. 🦆

Yeah i had to go back 5 sec a ton of times lol. Not the best watching experience. a full build path in a graphic wouldnt have hurt anyone either.

Great video
i know Im supposed to be playing spirit shiv but gun shiv feels like it should be so good....
How to you make this thumb, bro?
What about alternate fire mode?

Terrible idea man. You need to imbue surge of power in skills that scale well, such as slice and dice, or Yamato's power slash.
@@SirCrusher knife build is the best shiv build and i see the most success imbuing surge of power on his 1 as well

I do think shiv is broken st this point, hes still too unkillsble, even with bane and tox. Great video! Thanks for the content!
Knife shiv is the best shiv build right now, I outright disagree w/ every statement you made mentioning burst damage
That’s cool thanks for your opinion
Try melee shiv and get back to me
Can I use this thumbnail as a PFP lmao?
Go for, it credit to lamarrite for the pic
