The channel isn’t really about the food reviews. It is just a mechanism/structure that is entertaining with Danny’s personality . You can’t review fish ship after fish shop, pizza place after pizza place and expect massive variety.

Sadly he's a victim of his own success . When he first started out with only a handful of followers, i'm quite sure his aim was to give honest reviews of takeaways , good or bad , which he did (with the infamous munchy box one in Scotland). Now, however, i reckon he's gotten to a point where he has such a massive following that he knows that giving a takeaway a low score or saying anything bad will really hurt their business.
I just think he's simply a nice guy. So doesn't want to cause grief for any takeaway. Doesn't matter what score he gives is we can read between the lines. He tries to only goto good places but now and again he's going to he recommended somewhere that doesnt quite live upto anything. Most of the comments on here seem to be disagreeing with the score. So it's not like his score has pulled the wool over anyone's eyes.
As I've said on a previous video Danny needs to revisit theses places the next day and have something different to what he had before ! Because he only showing us what he picked and what the serves recommend
I am firmly in this Camp.....we have a local Indian Carry out place in our Village and the Indian fare such as tandoori, kebabs and Currys is outstanding and would certainly be in Danny's 10 range, however they have a small "European Dishes" section on the menu like Fish and Chips which is basically a huge frozen fish finger thrown into the deep fat fryer for 10 mins and burgers which fall into the 20p mass produced quality.......so you do have to cherry pick your food in these places.
Bad review. High score. Love ya, Danny; but you need to give more realistic ratings. Your verbal review would keep me from going there. Your number rating was confusing for food that looked so bad-especially the burger and fries.

I knew a local chippy that had a £20 minimum order, and charged £5 delivery within 2 miles. They also sold Chinese food. They had like a 2* food hygiene and 3* reviews.

Man, for someone that lives in the States and a bit of a world history buff, I have to say, all that 17th and 18th century architecture really impresses. You don't find ANY of that stateside! Man, for someone that lives in the States and a bit of a world history buff, I have to say, all that 17th and 18th century architecture really impresses. You don't find ANY of that stateside! All that aside, I'm still watching and although Danny hasn't given his 'rating' yet, to be fair, I'm thinking a solid 8.5. He hated the burger and wasn't quick to rave about the naan pita. That was bloody awful, dry bun, no burger relish, salad was just a threat, donner meat looked like it was tumble dried. Chips were a bit Humming.
The Main mixed kebab was really shabby, served on paper and foil WTF ! Mayo dollop, no dip pots ! No chilli or garlic sauce, another threat of salad and the counter guy was deaf to his ask for a receipt too. Whoever recco'd this gaff to Danny should be ashamed of themselves.
About time Danny got tuff with places like this and walked back in with it and asked for a full refund.
