As an Orlando Magic fan in the early 2000's I have been there before, every year we would get excited thinking Grant Hill was finally healthy from his ankle injury. Only for him to be out for the season less than a month into the season. I've gone through being a fan of a team and a guy with a never ending injury and it sucks. Thankfully we still had McGrady. But hard to not still dream what a healthy McGrady and Hill could have done together. So I feel for Clippers fans, it sucks to go through this every year.
Clippers have made it clear: they do not want Kawhi on the floor until they know his knee is sustainable for the entire NBA season. They do not want Kawhi playing 10 games, then missing 3 games etc. I do believe there is a great chance he will not see an NBA minute this season.

That's such a bad take bro. While some players can cause their own injuries by not taking care of their bodies, Kawhi is built like a truck and has great conditioning. Some guys are just prone to injury and that's it. With the Patrick Ewing thing, not only was he a paint dominant center who never had to play or guard around the perimeter, but that era, while tough, was extremely slow in comparison to the high speed style of play of today's game.

That's such a bad take bro. While some players can cause their own injuries by not taking care of their bodies, Kawhi is built like a truck and has great conditioning. Some guys are just prone to injury and that's it. With the Patrick Ewing thing, not only was he a paint dominant center who never had to play or guard around the perimeter, but that era, while tough, was extremely slow in comparison to the high speed style of play of today's game.
