    As an Orlando Magic fan in the early 2000's I have been there before, every year we would get excited thinking Grant Hill was finally healthy from his ankle injury. Only for him to be out for the season less than a month into the season. I've gone through being a fan of a team and a guy with a never ending injury and it sucks. Thankfully we still had McGrady. But hard to not still dream what a healthy McGrady and Hill could have done together. So I feel for Clippers fans, it sucks to go through this every year.

    11:01 Shai Gilgerous-Alexander was going to be great player. Going back to his Kentucky days, you could see the work ethic, maturity, and physical talent he possessed. What team he would blossom on was dependent on who could develop his game and consider him an integral part of a franchise. He's a self centred person (which is his right as a professional). If he signed the 3 year extension in Toronto, he could've contended for another championship and THEN retired in LA with Paul on the Clippers (without losing SGA and draft capital).
      He jeopardized his own legacy and.the future of the franchise that risked trading their best player for him. He spurned (no pun intended) the two teams that provided him the best opportunity to compete for the fucking Clippers lol

      It’s not like staying in Toronto saves his legs. He still was dealing with this in Toronto but it’s gotten progressively worse over the years. It wouldn’t have mattered if he stayed or went.

    I think comparing Ben Simmons “injury” to anybody else’s is bs. And if you aren’t a sixers fan that was watching 50+ games a year during that time period with all due respect you don’t understand. Ben is a fraud. Who couldn’t take the criticism that he NEEDED to hear and now he’s hiding behind a back injury that’s never a problem during the summer when he wants to show us he “in the lab”

      I'm not even a clippers fan and I always hated that trade. We all knew both Paul and Kahwi were going to team up in LA; didn't need to move any assets to sign those two.

      Bro, PG was coming off a MVP caliber season and kawhi just won the chip. You’d be fired if you didn’t make that move. Remember, we’re talking about young Shai that wasn’t proven yet. It was all potential.

      @@superQman600 'looking back' means you have the knowledge you do now. and to still make that trade knowing how it's gonna go 10 times out of 10, i think i'd be ok with being fired for that.

    @3:30 with all due respect, if he wanted to be playing basketball he’d be playing basketball and doing the Patrick Ewing ice bag meme afterwards, he wouldn’t be not playing basketball with the hope that maybe someday he might play basketball. This isn’t like the spurs saga when the team was overstepping, this is Kawhi just not feeling like going into the office that he hand picked for himself

    • @benmck10
      @benmck10 2 วันที่ผ่านมา

      That's such a bad take bro. While some players can cause their own injuries by not taking care of their bodies, Kawhi is built like a truck and has great conditioning. Some guys are just prone to injury and that's it. With the Patrick Ewing thing, not only was he a paint dominant center who never had to play or guard around the perimeter, but that era, while tough, was extremely slow in comparison to the high speed style of play of today's game.
