The new DLC was sorely needed. The CCPs were greatly additions. I honestly was surprised that Paradox took a page from the mods and gave us so many roads available on the Workshop. Although, to be fair, console users didn't have access to those.
Yeah, I see so many complaining that the new roads were just from the workshop. Why would you complain about it though, it's still free? Plus for people who can't mod they get new roads.
As a console player, they were much needed! Overall happy w the update.
I can third this as a console player. Road variety was sorely missing on console until now!
Carparks were sorely needed for consoles
Carparks are still sorely needed in for both consoles and PC. Even if you have them in the workshop, they require TMPE to fully work as intended.
You’re such a wonderful builder. I’ve always wondered why they don’t invite you to build cities for DLC trailers :D

This is seriously one of the best applications of the Plazas & Promenades DLC I've seen yet. The pedestrian areas are so nicely integrated with all of the surrounding buildings. It's so beautiful.
Man my builds don’t look half as good. Even with mods! Keep up the INCREDIBLE work!
As a console player I am so happy this DLC came out! Pedestrian areas can help really bring parks, boardwalks, universities and more come to life as they should be!
This is what I've waiting all my life.
It is perfect. There are a few mods that make pedestrian street, but cars go ahead 😂
I really like this because in European cities, most of the downtowns are pedestrian, and I live in Spain, so it's just perfect

Vanilla is becoming VERY POWERFUL. Back then (2015, 2016) mods were almost a must, now 7 years later (how time passes) the vanilla game has evolved SO SO SO MUCH. Free and paid updates.
Yes, I am playing without mods after this DLC and I was surprised how much variety and options I had. The only thing I really miss is "Move it", I hope CO will add this feature in the future ;)
@@wurzelbert84wucher5 I also play vanilla except for no pollution color, move it and 25 or 81 tiles.

@@wurzelbert84wucher5 They probably could if they were competent. They can "steal" workshop content and add into game without paying the modder. Thats their style.
@@gumbyshrimp2606 Everything yes, but you can buy some DLC and other no, and its totally worth it, specially because once bought is FOREVER.

Great addition, and more hours of amusement trying to work out how to make my city more ridiculous. But what gets me is how quick the modders are at getting their mods updated. I mean all the big key ones are up and running and we are talking hours after the DLC's came out! WOW thanks!

People had access to the dlc before release. Don't ask me the details. Biffa for example was already playing a week ago and in his video he stated that mods were ready, while he was using them.
How? I don't know.
@@christiangonzalez6945 They sent the DLC to modders and some youtubers and put them under Non Disclosure Agreements.

For a console player, the free update (roads) and this DLC, make a huge difference. The additional detailing now available is so exciting 🎉
Of the CCPs, I'll get mid century modern first as i can see that in most suburban builds. The seaside pack will only fit certain cities or very specific areas i think, so less exciting for me.

I cant seem to replicate your visuals/lightning/lut look. I allways got a lot of glare and bloom on the buildings.. What map theme and lut are u using, and how do you tune your lut? love your content. allways! thanks!

One question I think I didn't ask before: why are you deleting the trees on the land? Better performance or just better to work with an empty canvas?
The game remembers the trees are there when you delete stuff on top of them. It saves a little bit of memory, and in a big city that adds up.

One thing I noticed is you use parking ports in historic hotels. They only work when attached to roads.

These DLC'S were fanfreakintastic. Now all that Paradox needs to do is take some of the Best Essential Mods and make that a DLC. Instead of making a whole new game, why not have a Mod DLC.

I hate how you have to zone for car-free zones for some reason. And you can’t have car-free zones unless you already have a couple thousand people In your city. The dlc is ruined.

It would help other people make walkable cities with nice centers... but for me, an American where suburban single family households that occasionally have 3 cars i go full grid and would forget about the dlc if i had it

When I delete a road and the bus line sign comes up is there a way for me to edit the route or do I always have to delete it and re make it again
Also I keep getting no workers and not enough educated ones any help?
1.You can drag the stop where you deleted the road to a new location thus adjusting the buses to a new route. If you were to build a road close enough to the old stops they will adjust themselves.
2. Build more residential to bring in more cims, build more schools and universities and make sure you provide public transport to those schools.

Can you play a map after you bought the dlc that had a few mods???(or that map is gone forever😐)
You can, but you have to wait for those mods to update before it will work properly.

A new game, but the same map is less likely to encounter issues.

@@XEN0GL0SSY Get the latest version of your mods or disable them. After new Dlcs or Update, many mods become incompatible and needs a fix. But the majority should be updated by now.

Hey, does anyone know what mods can cause when I load the game, I have a gray screen, I can't see the city, and my city is named "Cities Skylines" for some reason?

So schön das neue DLC ist, so nerviger ist es das man wie immer 1-2 Wochen warten darf auf die Mod Updates und ggf. eine ganz neue Stadt bauen darf. Ich wäre froh wenn ich Zocken könnte aber noch Lädt das spiel nicht richtig oder kommt garnicht zum Fertig Laden der Welt, selbst eine neue Welt will er aktuell nucht mal..
