You're not wrong when it comes to the DJs, everytime I go to the local Goth night event near my town, I hear the DJ play the same set over and over and play the same songs from the same artist over and over, he's pretty lazy at finding more and more groups, plus he caters to Hipsters which aren't really alternatives.
Do you like Black Veil Brides? I saw them live along with a bunch of other bands on Warped Tour. It was dope. I saw Asking Alexandria, Juliet Simms, Nine Inch Nails, Stone Temple Pilots, Avenged Sevenfold and a few more.
Scuba Steve nah can’t say I’ve ever really been into them or many of the hardcore type bands. There was at one time In High school I listened to bands like them. mice and men, Memphis May fire to name a few, but it fell short once I discovered who I truly was
@@3vReanimated that's cool, yeah I kind of grew out of it too. I was very into the hard core stuff about 10 years ago. Now I listen to a little bit of everything
@@ScubaSteve3560 Yeah Im pretty stuck on strictly the 80s, but Im pretty open to a lot of variety of music except much of todays rap or pop culture crap.
I relate to the emo/scene part so much! I get a lot of inspiration for my outfits from scene because it's colorful and fun like I want to present myself. But the music is meh, I was always a metal/industrial/goth person at heart. I don't understand people who think goths have to dress 100% black everything trad to look real, we can like neons and even pastels!

I never limit myself. Yet, I tend to just go for the 80s stuff. Its just how it is
