Gaurav is genuinely the most honest and the funniest comedian out there.
I remember once I attended an open mic where Gaurav Kapoor was hosting and after the show me and my friend asked for a selfie but he was so shy that he didn't allow us to take one , this was 2 years ago.
Never thought so much of work and brains go into making people laugh.. Technically controlled laughter.. :p
Abhish Matthew makes any joke look like they are some sort of scientific discoveries by the comedians...and asks their thought process in making the joke...but the funny thing is every comedian on his podcast just says that it is improvised 🤣
Natural. The way anyone will have a conversation. But here it's not 1 to 1 but 1 to many, interaction. But, joke can be also constructed. Maybe bcoz Abish may not be a instinctively funny person, & he might be using patterns, structures, formulas; which he intends to share to the world
I completely agree. It almost seems like he has decided that he has to be in a serious 'analysis mode' for the podcast. Comes across as very unnatural sometimes.

it shows these laughs require lots of hard work ,thought process, observation, timing , creativity...that increase the respect for art work of comedians..and abhish Mathew is being himself just like son of abhish ..so stop criticism

@@gabrumeranaam I believe Gaurav is a brilliant comedian and I love his stand-ups. The same can't be said about Abhish, I find him mediocre at best. Making someone laugh is a tough job I'm not trying to demean anyone. But, it seems like Abhish is trying heckle out the techniques of Gaurav and, in the process, butchering the jokes. That's what I meant. I don't why you got so triggered, but this is what it is.

I'm just watching this now, and I heard about Norm MacDonald, the genius in his art, and I didn't know much about him, before I heard from Gaurav Kapoor, and as soon as I opened Instagram just like that, I got a post about Mr. MacDonald, may he Rest in Peace.

Don't know much about comedy but I don't think there is any particular way or technique to make people laugh.
Like there is no need to dissect so much, though it's nice to see plus Gaurav seems more intelligent than Abish(idk why I said that)
this show has a great concept,,, and also has ability to give the idea to new commers how to do improvements in writings. . .. and also funny and attractive. . .
