Most people remove from the top down, I think your approach to removing material from the bottom makes a bigger impact when the water takes over and washes it all downstream
Oh, it’s definitely a better visual impact, but people remove from the top because it’s safer. Being in the channel when the dam collapses is dangerous, so it’s a good thing Mathias is good at spotting when the dam starts to go
He's had enough experience that he can look at a dam and know which technique will best get the job done. I've watched many of his videos over the last year (I'm a newbie) and when he's looking at a really wide dam, 30'-40' wide, he tackles them from the top. He's very careful@@combak2712
@@frankd3024 True. When Mantas races to the end of the canal, he always gets there before I do but I always get tired and out of breath before he does (while still sitting on my couch).
Hey Friend. What you mentioned in your last video is true. This IS, by far the best dam collapse channel on the internet, period! No. Doubt. About. It! You really are extremely good at this and, I encourage anyone watching to subscribe to your channel. They will NOT be disappointed. Great job. Keep up the awesome videos, my Brother from another Country. 👍👍👌👌👍👍
You have perfected the art of dam collapse. Keep up the great videos. I really like how you have made them a bit shorter as I can watch the video while having a coffee on a break. You may have heard about the landslide in British Columbia Canada that blocked an entire river for about a week before the water finally crested the top and caused a similar erosion to what you do with a collapse. Google Chilcotin River Landslide in British Columbia Canada if you haven't seen it.
SWwoosh! It is so captivating to watch the dam roll over and get pulled apart by the force of water. Another outstanding job. I'm so glad your camera didn't get washed away!!!
Your videos are already great my friend you take care of you and your family first the extra camera is optional 👍🏻. Keep up the good work much love from southern U.S.
What a professional you are , yet another great collapse, much better than any other so called beaver dam removers, keep up the good work and you will soon get to 100k subscribers.
I’m not surprised the other “so called” (as you put it) beaver dam removers don’t do it this way, it’s more dangerous by far. It’s really quite sad that you think the dam removers who put safety before spectacle are somehow failing in their tasks even although the end results are exactly the same, ie the dam is removed.
Mantas, you are one of the hardest working people on u tube.your commitment to doing the job right is so commendable.just continue doing what makes you happy.be safe.great video as always.on to the next adventure.nice collapse of dam😎😎😎👍👍👍
You’re so fun to watch. Your goal of taking down a dam is the same as all the others but your approach is so different. That’s why I watch you so much. It is a delight to follow you.😊❤
Another one bites the dust and another one gone and another one gone! Hey!!! Love to watch you do your thing and thank you for sharing it with us!!!💖💖💖🎆🎆🎆🍺🍺🍺
Wooooohoooo, that was CLOSE! Haha! You almost missed it with the one camera! The second camera I really enjoyed, because I got to see how the water level dropped, watching the back side (or upstream side) of the dam. Nice!!! Thank you very much!
You might try removing some more material from the anchor points on each side of the dam- thus you might get a complete collapse of the entire dam. This is based on dam strength points and physics of water pressure against the structure
Another excellent removal I think the rain added to the atmospherics of the video (not so good for you though) I was worried about Lightning and water but glad that you would have gone to your car!
Yesterday we won 3x3 basketball bronze medals. Also rowing we won bronze too in womans. We have quite lot participants. I think gold medal is coming from disk throwing.
Mantas awesome video. This dam collapse was a lot like your last one, but in all, I really enjoy watching it roll out. Sorry about the weather you had to put up with. David B.,Utah, USA. 💞💞❤❤❤.
I enjoy the way the dam collapses under the weight of the water! You are so precise in your work! How can you tell that it’s ready to fall so that you get out of the way of the water?
"Sometimes happens" LOL! to me too! Another epic collapse. Congrats on buying land for your new house. I just watched that video (out of order but still entertaining). All the best to you and your family.
You should get in touch with local beaver hunters and give them rhe locations of active beaver dens, and in return they can give you locations of beaver dams.
Dam(n) solid collapse! Loved how that sucker rolled down and disintegrated of the water torrent. Probably the camera didn't liked the rain, so it passed out. Keep going man!!
not only getting dams to collapse, also cameras. You are doing a valuable service. Is there trappers that could capture and relocate the beavers. I worked at a place that all the trees were coming down and parking lot going under water. they brought in people to live trap and relocate them to a state park. Good work to you from Wisconsin USA.
Looked like you almost lost a camera on this one if it had fallen towards the water. Strange built dam with lots of green vines and twigs. Good job, good result, no matter what happened. Sveiki namų ponios and to you also. Mantas Petrosius, destroying dams and pissing off beavers on TH-cam for nearly 11 years and more to come.

Stimmt. Das Zusehen ist wirklich anstrengend! 😊
I love work! I could watch people do it all day!

You got across that waterway just in time before the dam collapsed. Excellent video.
Absolutely love your method of removing beaver dams! It hits that satisfaction you didn’t know you needed.
Do the beavers ever come out & threaten you?? Great video, thank you!

Love your videos always and my opinion is 2 camera’s are fine 😊❤
Excellent video!
Epic collapse as always!! The camera shot from behind the dam was cool ! 💪
The camera tipping over was actually pretty cool. Thanks for leaving it in the video.
Thank you for your work, and please be careful!!!! You're getting into larger projects and it's more danger of collapse!!
my man, you are getting better at the "glory sot" of collapsing the damn. keep up the great work!
8.3 on the Kenislovas Flop-O-Meter
You are the Picasso of beaver dam removal. That was a genuine work of art.

Wow great collapse. Thanks

You're getting so good at thinning it evenly, so that a wide part of the dam collapses all at once!
Tremendous collapse again Mantas. You're the King of Collapse. Keep the videos coming. Thank you.
Good one!
it was around 30c here today, terrible. nice collaps! keep it going!
Thanks!
Thank you very much!
The plants along the canal is very thick!😊

You are getting to be a true expert in collapsing beaver dams! Good job! :)
Thats so cool to watch. And, it clears way better than ripping it apart slowly.
I wonder with it raining added more pressure on the dam. Another awesome collapse!!!!!

Exactly. Remove more from the sides at the base, then work towards the center.
Love seeing your videos ❤❤

superb!! thanks for this Mantas!!

I really enjoy your very hard work . The last few dams of have been great !
See where you had the camera on the other side facing you and the rain was dripping from the tree ? That is amazing asmr.
wow in canada we had a mudslide like that.. not due to beavers tho... at least not the small ones//great video thaks for the upload!

To a beaver, Mantas is public enemy #1 😂 Joking aside, another great video! I don't know how he is able to put out so many quality videos.
Thanks! I just have some dreams and this is the way how I could reach it!

Whoa! You just barely made it across before the dam let loose!
Fantastic as usual
Hello from USA
In the Olympics of beaver dam removal, that would be the gold medal winner. 👏👏👏
Nicely done!
❤🙏👍🏅👏👌 if Dam removal was an Olympic event you would definitely take GOLD.
Another awesome job 👏❤️👑
Another awesome collapse. I'm always amazed at how much water is being held back by sticks and mud........put together by an animal!
A gusher.
Ain't nobody can bust a dam like dam bustin' Kenislovas!
Great. Job young man
Lots of rain here from the hurricane. I saw a picture of Kristian Seniauskiene's garden in Vilnius. Have you seen it?
It's great how you no when the dam is going to fall and you get out of the way.
Good job mate, have a blessed day
