hey girl idk if this is relevant now but a guy does not like you if he doesnt WANT you and all that means is that you're not meant to be and thats okay. You were never the problem and all you can do is move past this by distancing yourself from both of them because you dont need a reminder of what you could've had with him. It seems like he doesnt want to hurt your feelings by saying he likes you both since you two have been together longer than your friend and tbh a man thats willing to pursue something with someone whos already in a relationship is never a good choice. He clearly lacks morals and self respect and you dont need to deal with that.
