I hate them icl. It makes my ears hurt. It lacks cohesion. Experimentation can be better done. O.O was not that, but duce was much better imo. Still a bit hectic, but mostly pleasant to listen to.
jiwoo is such a strong performer ( i really wish this convo around her weight will die quickly and never return)

it seems like they are dropping the controversial style of music ( it's a good idea just not executed in a digestable way imo) or maybe just evolving differently. i think a lot will change based on the reception/feedback of this comeback

Their album expergo has this new refreshing sound to it. My favorite song is “My gosh” its an R&B love bomb and has beautiful vocals and harmonies. NMIXX really showcased the vocal talents they have on rest of the album. 10/10

Its interesting to hear diffrent opinions, because i like O.O and Dice much more than Young, Dumb, Stupid and Love me Like this. They need 3 or 4 Listens more to get into it but after that i literally heard them for 2 weeks non stop. The 2 new songs its not so much confusing but after 2 times listen to it i listen to other songs, if that makes sense. So im really curious what they will bring us in the future!

I think O.O and Dice are more experimental, their sounds are rare and very unique, but of course you need a few listens to fully understand them and appreciate them, but both are bops. LMLT is super catchy and easy to hear and learn, but it's not as original as the other two, as you said, when I heard it for the first time I thought "Beyoncé sound" too, which it's not a bad thing at all but it's not their signature sound. But I really enjoy LMLT, it's a bop for sure.

If you listen closely to the chorus in Young, Dumb, Stupid it is done in a round. Also, I believe the high notes at the end that you noticed are done by Lily.
As someone that grew up listening to Beyonce and gave much love to the B'Day album, Get Me Bodied was the first song I thought of when I heard this song. Admittedly, i like NMIXX songs without the mix part it seems because this song is pretty catchy.
Oh no, you cut off o.o right before the change up😭 thia is def my fav tt from them tho, and the most easy to enjoy as just audio. Their mixpop was iconic but this genre lets them show their talents in a more clear and cohesive way imo. They have a live stage practice of them doing the choreo and singing live, no backtrack. I'd love if you checked that out.
