A General Introduction to FHIR, presented by Richard Ettema

This tutorial provides a brief introduction and overview of the HL7 FHIR specification. We will examine the basic concepts of FHIR resources and supported interoperability paradigms. An instructor led demo will illustrate a FHIR-in-action scenario. If you are new to FHIR, this is a great place to start.

By the 23:00 mark, I pretty much was lost because of the interruptions. A good presenter will repeat the question for all to hear otherwise, the rest of the crowd will be lost like me. My comment is no reflection on the knowledge of the presenter since it sounds like he knows what he is talking about and has the credentials. As a beginner I would recommend looking somewhere else.

Quite informative video. I would love to see more examples though. The use case (25:40) looked quite promising. It's a pity it was covered so shortly. Anyway - thank you

I realize I'm asking 2 years after the posting but,
Does the message still retain the 'old traditional' HL7 format ? As in, would I recognize the HL7 2.3 structure in say, a log file ?
