Right on man. I wish we are neighbors I do stuff like this every weekend.
Made 6 farmhouse tables for my wedding last summer plus a coffee table/bench. Dimensions: 6' x 3'-4", Made them a tad shorter in length but used seven boards instead of six, wider to fit a large cutting board with a large piece of lamb, family style. Thank sir for this video, I saved thousands of dollars in renting fees for a 3 day weekend wedding. Took me about 4 weeks to make plus stain and seal while also preparing a wedding of 50 guests, everything made by ourselves. Five of the tables I sold to friends after the wedding, kept one plus the coffee/bench. Never crafted a table before in my life, lots of fun! Pictures here:
That is absolutely incredible. Thank you for letting me know. I checked out the Google drive and I really like the hand rustic chamfers on the boards. The color is great. You did a fantastic job. You should be commended for your work brother. Nice work
Awesome post! This is how we stay positive about our fellow man and doing good for others... You sir, rock.
Hi about to make tables and bench’s for my daughter’s wedding, can you send me the pictures and plans??
Installed these on a riding mower th-cam.com/users/postUgkxetgfkJxfdT_B2vGYP-uNTLaBbim9OKTD . They were sharp out of the box, although I've never liked blade edges that were coated...not quite as sharp as I personally want. Using my belt sander, I removed the coating from the cutting edges and refined the edge enough to shave with them. So far, after three runs, these blades are holding up as expected. Even after hitting a few fallen 1/2 inch or so branches, the edges are still sharp as heck. No edge dings, no warping, etc. As far as installing them, the cutouts were of the proper size and shape to fit my aging Craftsman mower. Very satisfied.
Excellent job Chris , and thank you for sharing and showing the love to your family,, nice looking outdoor table!
4:56 ....it's moments just like "this" that keep me coming back to your channel...it's your awesomely open personality and your passion for woodworking that shines through. Keep up the great videos and please never lose your motivation. 🙂
very easy to follow technique. like the tip on "angled screw"
I built your table design this past weekend. Thanks for the video! Really happy how it turned out.
Absolutely AMAZING and a pleasure to watch/learn! Thanks for all the valuable information. Your daughter is precious and very proud of her dad!
Thanks for this video! Gorgeous table. I wanna build a rustic one for my new place. I have no skills or experience, and only a few basic tools, but with your video as a guide, I'm confident I can do it!
Absolutely superb. Making something yourself and for your family........ Perfect. A really nice job too. 👍🏾 🇬🇧
Really appreciate how you did your project; your table is pretty awesome, very much the kind of table my wife asked me to build. Thanks for the inspiration
Just finished building mine using red wood. Cost a bit more but gives the table a great vibrant look. Great DIY tutorial.
I'm slowly learning to build and I love it. It feels so good to be able to build something and look at it and say I did that.
That’s what it’s all about making something and leaving the earth with something that is better than you found it. Although nothing is forever you know but it’s such a good feeling to accomplish a nice project. Thanks for reaching out
Finished our first attempt attempt
at a table following your video.
Thank you so much.
From North West Bulgaria
Mate, can't a single word about your creations until I say what an amicable approach you present. You do have a natural gift. Be thankful you don't live next door to me because I'm the guy that would make your creations rubbish. BUT, you are so encouraging that I'm proud of the rubbish I make. I hope you never quit this offering. Your daughter is going to grow up and squeeze you until you cry with joy. Nicely done Mate.
What a great dad! Thank you.
Well said. Build something and get it off your bucket list
Nice dinning table for a family bullfight eating. Or even with friends, watching from the Philippines.
We built the table with this video and it turned out great! We went 7 boards wide.
Such a great video and build with minimal tools!! Great video for a beginner like myself
Thank you for the inspiration and instructions to build my own table. Watched your video yesterday, got the materials this morning and finished the table this late afternoon. Yes, I feel good about it. God bless you!
Very helpful. I might do the same at a much smaller scale. Loved the simplicity, the wisdom, and the love put into this project. Best part: your cutie at the end - God continue to bless you and your fam!
Perfect... This is the kind of look and setup I have been thinking about... Will start my builds next week for my sons birthday in 2 weeks.
That’s awesome. Thanks for letting me know. It really is coming in handy this summer for sure for us
Thanks for sharing your work. The table was a great build, who doesn't need one, right? But enjoying your work with your children is one of life's biggest blessings. May God continue to bless you, your family and your woodworking 👍🏾
Deeply grateful for a great idea, and a very helpful video to help me make it happen. Mine turned out wonderfully! Thank you so much for your help. I learned so many new tricks doing this project.
I'm making this! Thanks for the super clear video!
Great solid table for years to come , ❤👌
Thanks for the video & for your positivity
Great job. Your daughter is a beautiful star. Love your description and info.
Chris, you killed it brother....thank you for sharing.
Chris, what a cool build! Your enthusiasm is contagious!
Omg. I'm so *not* smart when it comes to building anything. Wasted so much time and hardware *thinking* the were sturdy. But couldn't figure it out without connecting boards. Thank you.
I’d love to see a video on the benches too. That was simple to build. I love seeing these projects that I can use to teach my son without breaking the bank.
That’s a good idea bro I made those benches along time ago and did not send it. I think I may have to revisit. Thank you bro
I'd like to see benches being made too, also a cut list with some measurements would be real helpful.
Buddy, you are s great father and a great carpenter.
Beautiful design table. Thanks for sharing!
You have me inspired to what to build one and I am a woman but I think I could do it. I have a table that was built poorly and I stained the bottom white and the top a grey and the two tone looks awesome. Thanks for sharing and teaching!
good video and you're right - it's all about the family. enjoy it as they grow up way too fast
Just made this table w scrap 6x6 legs. Not a woodworker or anything. Thanks for the video!
So last year our dog jumped up on our cheap patio table and destroyed everything but the glass top. I used your design to make a table out of the glass topper. Turned out fantastic!!!
You made it look simple. Been looking for a cheap but durable table. You nailed my budget.
Thanks for sharing
Love that self pocket hole screw driving without jig!

Excellent job my friend! I really love your table!

Just made a variation on this table, but used thicker 2x10 boards from Douglas fir for the top. Great design; thank you!

Building one for my deck now. Thank you for the video. Good tip on the legs.

Oh man that's a good looking table! I'm going to try to build this :-) thank you for this video!
Made a small one out of sleepers but it's a bit too low - Just wanted to see how you put one of these together and I think I can modify the measurements to make one for my patio. Got two lovely wooden benches there that need something to stop my beer from crashing to the floor! Thanks for showing us.
Awesome Job!!!! I LOVE IT!!!!
Nice win! Hope you get some great family time out there.
Tharemy Hopkins Oh yes that’s the goal for sure thank you so much brother
