I like how they power these cameras off a standard 12 volt car battery. Sometimes you can see it mounted to the base, mostly during the closed captioning is paid for in part by segment between commercials.
@catholicpriest1 Actually, five: Norelco PC-70, three Hitachi models (SK-110, SK-750, and ?), and now Sony HD cameras. And I guess Camera 2 is operated by Wayne Getchell, since Marty Wagner mans Camera 1.
@johnnyafairbanksak yes. at that time last season Wayne Getchell was running full time. now if you have seen any 39th show yet you may know that Getchell is not running anymore. he is still there helping with cords and filming the rehearsel but he isnt running c-row anymore. Keeth Lawrence who I really like by the way. is now running C-row full time this season. he started getting training with a smaller diffrent camera march 1st to may 26th tapings for 38. Wagner runs C-3. Devarona Runs C-1.

Marty Wagner retired last year after over 40-plus years, and Getchell still runs Camera #2.
Not anymore now, he retired too.
