im hype for the revival of dbs
I seen one piece TCG hypebeast dorks hype this set up and call the gold energy markers “mangas” to stir up false hype to most like drive up prices for this TCG, and I seen folks try to sell a case worth of hits for over $1000, people literally trying to make this about money instead of having a fun time with the game
if you don’t play alts it’s not expensive people just want alts and want to complain that it’s to expensive, get your 2 broly starter decks for 80-100 and your singles for 100 and your competing at a high level for 200 dollars any other card games is impossible to compete at that level for 200 dollars
@yamiletcruz3178 this new game is expensive. I was looking into starting to play a new tcg and started to look into this game. Went to my local card shops and big stores, but was unable to find any dbs cards. I looked online and saw how expensive the booster packs and boxes were and noped out of the game.
Mtg/pokemon sellout all the time and their prices go up but don't 2x-3x in price like DBS.

Found 25 packs and all 4 decks at Walmart. Pulled Goku scr alt, Ginyu sr alt, and 9 SRs. So much fun to open

Per case: 24 alt arts, 4 Alt art leaders, 8 secret rares.
I took my son to a card shop thinking they wouldn't go by tcg prices, I was shocked at the outrageous prices, not wanting to disappoint my son, I dished out $130 for 2 broly decks and sleeves so he could play in the tournament.
That's crazy and still so sad to hear how expensive it is to play these days

@@yamiletcruz3178Not everyone is interested in the meta and the tiers, some people just want to crack a box with friends and have enough cards to build a few decks themselves and see the variety of the game.
The booster boxes weren’t too bad at $125 each. I picked up 2.

Yeah it's not worth it really at that price, I got 2 boxes for 300$ even so 150$ apiece but did pull Gohan L ⭐ and Goku SCR.

They want to reboot DBS, but they price gouging and the high prices, make it nearly unplayable for some people. Cards just cost way too much.
Why do people keep saying this you can build a competitive teir 1 deck for 200 dollars, try playing yugioh where the meta deck is 1000 dollars for low rarities
If only boxes were more reasonable priced, more cards can go into market lowering prices all around . IMO

Look at one piece starter decks reprints won’t help this game be cheap the reprint is going to be so small my local stores only got 4 boxes on release

Post-COVID Bandai TCGs are more about building hype and FOMO and fostering garbage like this than trying to make games for people to play and building the community. My LCS got a case and is still sitting on them for just slightly above retail. For those who really want to play, the digital client will give them an opportunity, and for all the financiers, they will sell to suckers or sit on the product until people have moved on to the next card game hype train.
You obviously don’t know how low printed set one of a good card game works anyone who sits on this set will make money and anyone who got these boxes for msrp will never lose, everyone is complaining about prices but can build a tier one meta deck for the price of one box just be smart
