Yes, any kind would work. However I would highly suggest you use construction paper (or something thicker than regular printe paper), as its more sturdy and doesn't bend that easily.

No it doesn't have to be a specific type of wax - any would do :) The size is up to you - but its easier to see the message, if the candle is a tealight.

I’m not sure about the transparent sheet - I haven’t worked with it before. But if it’s plastic and not paper, I wouldn’t use it. And the construction paper doesn’t become flammable as it soaks up the wax when the candle burns. I hope this helps :)
Does anyone have an idea on how to attach what message is inside? That is removable. My daughter would like to make and sell these at a kids' craft fair, but we need a way for the buyer to know which message they are buying. (She wants to do a few options.) We thought about signs, but people could easily mix them up. Thanks!
I’m not sure that would work - unless you want to create your own candle from scratch. Because you have to be aware of the wick and the placement of the card 🤔 But the card won’t burn, if it gets time to become completely soaked in the candle wax. I’m not sure if the card will have the time to get soaked enough if it’s placed in the middle of it🤔
Yes, the wick will burn down to the thing it's attached to. It never touched the paper, and the paper is soaked with the candle wax, so it doesn't brun. But then again, you should never leave a candle burning unattended.

The weight of paper is measured in grams per squaremeter (gsm) and construction paper is at 180-200gsm while regular printning paper is at 80gsm 😊

About 15-20min - the wax has to get warm first before it gets seetrough :)

Just buy some self-adhesive labels and label them.
Does it have to be white candle? I tried it with green that I had and doesn't show anything....
Was it a tealight? I haven’t tried using coloured candles, but if the candle wax becomes transparent it should work
