I don't typically comment on TH-cam videos.. However, I must say, excellent video. Loaded with exactly the information I needed to know. Well done, and thank you greatly dude!
*It's great caught caught a brown trout on the first cast. **enjoyable.fishing** recommend if it was a little smaller it would be more effective for different species*
Very informative Dan I like to know how to set up/use something before I buy it, never seen this elsewhere brilliant. One point try and get some clearer close ups if you can.
nice videos man .. subscribe...gotta rig differently here in the US musky here tend to straighten treble hooks . westin rocks wish it was easier to get there lures here
Did you tried this on the black cat ghost hooks? I use the since around one year besides tripples as stingers and with very short jigheads. I don't see a disadvantage by only using 3 hooks, for me pikes go to 80% on the head and is they got on the ghosthook its so much more easy on landing the fish. Maybe its just me but i am a hand landing guy and i allready got hooked twice very good once by an 105 cm Mama and a young 150 cm Wels cat on the loose tripple
I've bought a load of perch and pike gear and just realised the fishing season has closed on uk rivers? Is that correct? If so fuck my life haha! Love your videos mate
I personally find the no rig shads cost more than the ready rigged 1s, the ready rigged shads tend to go on offer from £14 down to £4.99 the no rigged shads are like £7 so I don't get how you said normally you can buy like 10 no rigged 1s and rigs that all cost like £3 for that same price as as 1 pre rigged, 10 no rigged 1s and rigs would be like £50 or more definitely not cheaper than 1 for 14
He's talking about the price of a set of wire traces that come with 2 x treble hooks, compared to making his own, I bought a pack of 3, ready to go traces with 2 x treble hooks on each for £9.99 on Monday, so I'm gonna be making my own, once I've used these up. The start up price will cost about £30, but the amount I will be able to make, will save me alot of money and less trips to the to the tackle shop, most experienced pike angler's make their own. The price of Shads is another matter!

You can use paperclips to hang your trebles, I used in the past when stuck.
Great video, where do you get your Shads from please.
good video. i have some soft plastics on the way and this is really helpful. Keep up the good work!
Nice video, m8!
Btw, you can use only one piece of wire to rig both trebels, less crimps needed.

Why are they closed? Here in Finland you are allowed to fish for pike all year. And no rivers are closed
DB Fishing ok thanks for response
Which shads are they, the curly tail one? Great vids
Nice comrade
Ever thought of using a swivel? So the pike cant bend loose.
Keep it up mr db
