Jorah was the Jon in Dany's story. Guy loved her, saved her life twice, she thanked him by banishing him twice, and the only reward he ever got in the show was a disease that for all interests and purposes Sam magically cured by miracle and he could've decimated the own Citadel by doing so. And when he was in one of the free cities he essentially got told by pretty boy Daario "suck a fat one, Captain friendzone". Then he died in battle defending Dany and the only salvation he ever got in life was not seeing Dany and her bunch of war criminals systematically execute civilians by dragonfire and her bunch of Unsullied execute surrendered soldiers. Season 8 was retarded for SO many reasons, but at least they didn't completely torch Jorah's character. Like Arya's character arc, which ultimately becomes pointless. And Euron's character was done a ton of injustices too, and I'm sure many hardcore book-readers would agree. As for Ramsay, can't exactly cry over him becoming fertilizer through his hounds' digestive tract.
George R.R Martin better get finished with The Winds of Winter. I don't even know if I can wait anymore.😑 Was so damn invested in this fantasy universe, took it way too seriously for my own good.
I wish John would have got him but man oh man that battle was intense I just wish we could have seen things more it was soo hard to see anything also I would have kept most troops inside the castle walls....not that it matters though lol the night king can resurrect all dead troops
@@frances1227 the ending absolutely shit over every single meaningful character and story line the show had spent 4 glorious seasons painstakingly building. if you enjoyed the low effort schlock that hollywood is forcing down your throat then sure whatever. but keep your dirty normie hands off of game of thrones.
Just finished the series as well. Fucking amazing music but man the ending of the show saddens me. An amazing story with a poor finish. The Night King deserved better for being death itself. Jon and Dany should have fought him
@@Giga2Bahamut Nah, I actually agree with him. Everything, except the writing was perfect. In the writing itself, it definitely has flaws. But in my opinion, from season 5 onwards, this was already the case. Like when Jon Snow got resurrected, that was when the writing took a hit. Game of Thrones was so intense and fun to watch, because main characters can die at any point of the show. And then he gets revived. I hear nobody about this. And yes, season 8 was a bad season to Game of Thrones seasons 1-4 standards. But for TV shows at a normal standard, it was actually really good.
@@sil5429I actually agrees with you and this thing was going in my mind when the main characters just stopped dying after oberyns death Jon snow should have died as his situation was at so many occasions same goes to Arya in Braavos when she was stabbed and jumped into sea and came out alive so sad got forgot how iconic it used to be till S4
they didn't even need "the 20 good men" (gold star if you get the joke). could've just went around winterfell, correct? then turn the rest of westeros into a necropolis and now walk back with an army of numbers now in millions. or at least blockade off winterfell? like by all acoounts, they should've won. until arya ex machina.
If it ended with The Night King sitting on the Iron Throne it would have been a fantastic ending. Showing how in this world they couldn't come together, that the game of thrones was blinding to the real problem at hand and caused the deaths of everybody, all leading up to The Night King sitting on his throne surrounded by all of our favorite characters as Wights. It would have been a beautiful cautionary tale. But D&D didn't care, and now we're left with fanfics and the never ending hope for Winds of Winter, praying it will contain a better Long Night.
John snow is supposed to be Azor Ahai, and he's supposed to be the one that slays the Night King, because he's the only one that has had a setup with the Night King. Killing him and possibly dying can be a very climatic payoff, subverting the audience's expectations. Instead we got Arya coming outta nowhere. 😒 FUCK SAKE. What were Dumb and Dumber thinking?

The fact that we will never have Jon vs NK is so sad, we were robbed for that moment only because of D&D kind of forgot the main plot of the story (ICE & FIRE not some random freaking shaddow faceless assassin who came out of nowhere).
After that horrible ending I wish it would've been the night the one who destroyed king's landing and took the iron throne. Like a consequence to all seven kingdoms for not uniting with each other.
Spoilers Season 7 and 8 were good but very rushed. I don't consider them bad seasons. But we needed to see 9 or 10 full seasons to fully realize the story and the characters. Speaking of, I would change a couple of endings. I would change Jon Snow's ending and Jamie's ending. I would definitely prolong the battle with the Night king. We definitely needed to see Jon Snow fight the Night King at least once. And we needed to see Jon Snow become king. Whether it's king of the six kingdoms in which case you would have Daenerys not turn into her Father which I'm a fan of. Or King of the North. The long night was one of the greatest episodes I've ever watched on television. I absolutely love final battles that include all the characters we love and know, each fighting equally as hard for the same goal. You truly feel the stakes and the energy and the epicness anytime a story shows different characters in their own specific battles within the battle. I only wish the conclusion of the night King was much longer and obviously John snow and the night King should have gone at it.
the whole series was so perfect till the end of season 7 and then everything was rushed, wished they carried on with the slow buildup. Such a great series and still can't get over it
Jhon gets up on the dead dragon and and it flies on the sky night king slowly approaching the bran suddenly the dragon comes to where islltye night king was night king looks up the dead dragon flying on his head slowly a shadow amerging from the sky and the showdow has a sword he comes from the sky like death for the dead him self jhon rips night king in half by using hes dragon glass sword by falling from the sky
I've just watched the long night again and whoever put this music to these scenes is a genius...so many emotions
Ramin Djawadi is his name, he's awesome. A student of Hans Zimmer's.
if i be honest this is one of my favourites of the series its just too perfect and fits it so well
The music was created for the scene as like the light of the seven and winds of winter the most epic themes of the show.
Honestly, the music is absolutely the best ever!!!!!! What an incredible piece of music, with the best build up and story.
RIP Jorah and Theon 😢
RIP Beric Dondarrian

So simple and so beautiful. lots of love from Georgia🇬🇪
If anything good came from season 8 it was this soundtrack.
Before Arya's jump everything was so perfect
Yeah, from where she JUMPED?!!!!!
Bro she going to quietly to the brans tree just like she escaped from the deee man in winter fell
That one anticlimactic moment ruined the entire season, just like how pointless it was to begin with.
